ABERFELDY

Our stud, Aberfeldy Alpacas, is located on a 200 acre property in picturesque Googong, just 10 km south of Queanbeyan, and a short 30 minute drive from the centre of Canberra... Our goal is to run a herd of animals which produce a fleece clip of superb quality - with heavy fleeced animals of uniformly fine micron within the staple and across the entire fleece. While to date our herd has included a signficant proportion of coloured animals, we are now transitionig to a predominantly white herd for the commercial benefits of a white clip... We offer a range of animals for sale that would suit new breeders, as well as those who are seeking a quiet pet or herd guards for sheep and goats. For those entering the alpaca industry for breeding purposes, we can put together starter packages to suit a range of budgets and breeding objectives.
