AIM TRUST

AIM Trust was established in 1998 with the aim to ensure and uphold the rights of children in difficult circumstances. The organization focused on reducing incidents of child labour and fighting to ensure every child their right to an education. AIM Trust began its operation within the rural districts of Kancheepuram and Tiruvallur in Tamil Nadu, India.They initially worked with the government on strengthening government schools and passing laws to mandate all youth and children to attend class. Soon after their initial efforts, the organization joined the fight against bonded labour in stone quarries, brick kilns, and rice mills in the above mentioned districts.
