The company began in 1994, when Jack Pester founded Alta Fuels in Denver, Colorado with just seven locations. "Alta", which translates to high/peak in Italian, is an ode to our beloved home state and its famous mountain ranges. Today, we now have 110+ stores located across Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico and Nebraska, but the original mission remains: offering high-quality goods and services to the communities we love to live in...
