Cristina has a vast experience in different fields of dentistry and enjoys helping patients by answering their questions/doubts about their dental treatments.
Christina love's when patients leave her chair with a smile and tell her that they had a good experience and they want to come back because Cristina knows she made a difference in their lives. Cristina also likes the fact that she can help patients smile with confidence after a nice clean.

Dr McDonald's passion for dentistry began in the Whitsundays, where he grew up and later pursued his formal education at James Cook University (JCU) in Cairns. His dedication to dental practice earned him an academic medal for bachelor coursework, setting the foundation for a thriving professional career.
After completing his education, Dr McDonald worked in Victoria and Tasmania's public dental system before joining the Royal Australian Navy, where he spent five years at the rank of Lieutenant. During this time, he served as Senior Dental Officer HMAS Cairns.
Dr McDonald is equally as committed to educating others about dentistry and has previously held clinical positions at JCU tutoring senior-year students. He has also earned membership with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and is now working towards Fellowship status.
With a special interest in sleep disorders, early intervention orthodontics, and biomimetic dentistry that replicates nature's design principles, Dr McDonald is closing in on completing a postgraduate diploma in aesthetic sequential aligners through Excellence in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics Academy while pursuing Fellowship with the Australasian Sleep Association.

Dr Alexis Wiggins travelled to many places in the world before settling down and joining our team at Redland Bay. She loves treating patients in an understanding and compassionate manner.
Alexis completed a Bachelor in Commerce at the University of Northern British Columbia in Canada before deciding a career in dentistry would be more suitable for her.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health and a Graduate Diploma of Dentistry from Griffith University. Alexis enjoys talking to patients and identifying their needs. She is passionate about resolving their current issues and preventing further ones.
Born in South Africa but raised in Canada, Alexis is bilingual in English and Afrikaans. She has volunteered abroad in Ghana and likes to give back to the community.
Alexis loves travelling, visiting different cultures and enjoying international cuisines. She also enjoys snowboarding and bringing her creative side to life making pottery and candles.
Dr Alison Downes (Ali) graduated from Griffith University with Academic excellence, and has been practicing as a dentist on the Gold Coast ever since.
Formerly from a small NSW country town herself, she loves practicing in the small and relaxed town of Mudgeeraba.
Dr Alison Miles was raised in the UK and graduated from the University of Wales in Cardiff with her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 1997. For 14 years, she provided both private and public dentistry services in the United Kingdom, before eventually relocating to the Gold Coast with her family in 2012.
Alison prides herself on her gentle nature taking a calm, caring and friendly approach to all aspects of dentistry whilst putting great emphasis and value on the relationships she builds with her patients.
She takes the time to focus on addressing your specific concerns and explaining all suitable treatment options in a simple and easily understandable manner so that you can select the treatment that is best for you.
Alison constantly works to stay up to date on the latest advancements in dental technologies by attending a variety of continuing education courses and has recently developed an interest in treating TMJ and Sleep Apnoea issues.

Dr Arthur Lima is originally from Brazil and he is especially passionate about implantology and cosmetic dentistry. Arthur's favourite part about being a dentist is the ability to change people's lives through their smile.
Arthur completed his Bachelor in Dental Science at the Estacio de Sa University (UNESA) in Rio de Janeiro in 2006. He then moved to Florianopolis in Southern Brazil where he opened two dental practices.
At the same time, he worked on his Postgraduate Diploma in Implantology at the Santa Catarina Federal University (UFSC) which he completed in 2009.
In 2013, Dr Arthur Lima migrated to Australia and went on to complete his registration as general dentist through the Australian Dental Council.
His love for dentistry started as a teenager when he underwent orthodontic treatment. He found himself paying close attention to the details and instruments and was fascinated by the outcome.

Dr Bella Zarrabi graduated from Griffith University with awards for academic excellence. She graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Heath in Dental Science and a Graduate Diploma in Dentistry. Furthermore, she also completed her Graduate Diploma of Research at the University of Queensland.
Bella is passionate about providing the best care for her patients. Therefore, she continues to maintain and develop her skills by attending professional development courses. Before joining Coastal Dental Care, Dr Bella Zarrabi worked in areas such as Adelaide, Rockhampton, Brisbane and Hervey Bay. More recently, she worked within a private dental practice in Hervey Bay before heading down to the Gold Coast.
Dr Bella is a caring and calm dentist who enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She loves to improve her patient's health and educate them on how to look after of their oral health. From personal experience, she understands how important it is to create a positive experience for all of her patients.
She strives to do all she can to help her patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visit.

Dr Claire Lucena studied at LaTrobe University in Bendigo, receiving her Bachelor degree of Health Science in Dentistry and her Masters of Dentistry. She previously worked in rural dental hospitals in Victoria.
Claire's favourite part of working in dentistry includes connecting with people and helping patients achieve happy healthy smiles. Her friendly and calm nature helps her treat children and anxious patients.

Dr Craig Waring is a senior dentist at Coastal Dental Care Mermaid Beach with over 35 years' experience. Craig attended the University of Queensland and completed a Bachelor of Dental Science with First Class Honours. Following this, his passion to start his own private practice grew and he moved to the Gold Coast with his wife Kate to pursue this opportunity.
In 1986, Dr Craig Waring formed his own practice on the coast which quickly grew and became one of the largest multi-clinics in Queensland. Furthermore, his practice included 9 surgeries and full in-house acrylic and ceramic laboratories.
Craig has been instrumental in helping many young graduates find their passion and desire to start their own private practice. He enjoys giving back to dentistry through mentoring and developing their careers.
In the practice, Craig has a passion for early orthodontics, crowns, bridges and aesthetic dentistry. Furthermore, he likes to provide his patients with a thorough education about their oral health condition and treatment during their visit.
Outside of the clinic, Dr Craig's interests revolve mostly around outdoor activities. You can find him running, riding or at the beach swimming or surfing. Aside from his outdoor activities, most of his spare time is spent with his family.
Dr Cristine was born and raised in Brazil and completed her Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) in 2003. In 2014 Cristine moved to Australia where she successfully passed the Australian Dental Council Examinations and obtained her registration as a Dentist.

In his spare time, Filip enjoys running throughout the Gold Coast's serene coastline, spending invaluable time with his family and girlfriend Bianca, and dining at some of the Gold Coast's finest restaurants. Filip's passion for dentistry was ignited following his father's full mouth rehabilitation, where he was able to fully appreciate the impact oral health and cosmetic presentation has on one's overall well-being.

Growing up within the Mid-North Coast of New South Wales, Dr Glen Mckeough ventured down to study at the University of New South Wales in Sydney. Here, he completed a Bachelor of Science - Health and Exercise Science.
He graduated this degree with Honours and was soon after accepted into James Cook University in Cairns. In Cairns, he graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
While in Cairns, Dr Glen Mckeough took this opportunity to work within a number of different hospitals and dental clinics. Furthermore, he also worked within other locations such as Mareeba, Townsville and Mt Isa.
Through these experiences, he was able to develop an exceptional skillset which we are eager to deploy within our Redland Bay practice.
Outside of the clinic, Glen enjoys scuba diving, hiking and skiing.
Dr Harry Lincoln is a dedicated dentist at Coastal Dental Care who has a strong educational background and a passion for providing the best possible treatment options for his patients. He completed his dental studies at Griffith University on the Gold Coast, where he excelled in his Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and Master of Dentistry programs. Throughout his education, Dr Harry prioritised continuing his learning to ensure he stays up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry.
During his time at university, Dr Harry participated in outplacement at Tweed Heads Hospital Dental Clinic, where he focused on delivering emergency dental care to patients. This experience equipped him with valuable skills in handling urgent dental situations. Additionally, he gained practical experience at the Griffith University Warwick Dental Clinic, where he provided comprehensive treatment to patients in rural areas who had limited access to specialised dental care.
Growing up on the Gold Coast, Dr Harry has a deep appreciation for the relaxed lifestyle, warm weather, and outdoor activities that the area offers. Dr Hinrich Meijer loves to help his patients with their oral health. He enjoys that dentistry requires technical hand skills but at the same time gives him the chance to improve a person's life.
Hinrich started his career in dentistry as a dental technician after completing a bachelor's degree in Dental Technology in 2009. After experiencing the influence treatment can have on a patient, he decided to change careers and returned to university. In 2016, he graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health and Dental Science and in 2018 he completed his Graduate Diploma in Dentistry.
Dr Meijer is a familiar face in many of the Coastal Dental Care practices as he has assisted eight of our locations during his time at university. He always strives to achieve the best possible outcome for his patients. Hinrich enjoys being part of the incredible team at Robina Town and values working in a practice with state-of-the-art technology and materials.

Dr Jacki Obst graduated from the University of Queensland with honours in 1999. Since then she has worked at several practices on the Gold Coast, including an early stint with Coastal Dental Care at our Treeview practice (formerly known as Christine Corner Dental). These experiences have provided her with a broad range of knowledge and a sound understanding of the dental needs and wants of the Gold Coast community. Since starting her career, Jacki has dedicated herself to becoming an exemplary clinician.
Jacki has an interest in all aspects of general and cosmetic dental treatment but is particularly focused on gaining an understanding in to what underlying factors may be contributing to her patients dental concerns. Her aim is to not only treat her patients' teeth today, but to provide complete and comprehensive treatment planning to ensure their teeth for life.
Being a local to the area for over 10 years, Jacki can be found spending time with her young family and beautiful dogs around the parks and walking tracks of Mudgeeraba. She also loves to play netball and snowboarding.
With 35 years of Dental experience, James is a passionate and caring Dentist interested in creating a positive experience for his patients whilst delivering comfortable and quality general dentistry care.
James was born in Central Africa and brought up mainly in Rhodesia before attending boarding school and University in South Africa. In 1982 James emigrated with his family to New Zealand and completed his postgraduate studies in Virology before entering dental school at the University of Otago. He was awarded a Medical Research Council summer studentship in 1985 and the University of Otago Award in Dentistry in 1986 before graduating in 1987 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Credit. He completed 2 years in the Auckland Hospital System as a Dental House Surgeon and Registrar before commencing in Private Practice. In 1995 James emigrated to Western Australia and opened his own busy group private practice in Perth in 1998.
In addition to a busy practice, James spent two years as a part-time clinical tutor teaching in undergraduate clinics at the University of Western Australia School of Dentistry.
Dr Jason Bulmer is a local, who grew up and completed his schooling right here in the Banora Point area.
Jason attended Griffith University on the Gold Coast where he was continuously awarded academic excellence throughout his studies. He completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science followed by a Bachelor of Dental Science and Grad. Diploma of Dentistry. Jason is also accredited by The Australian Society of Implant Dentistry having completed courses I, II, III.
Dr Jason Bulmer is passionate about all aspects of dentistry, and loves helping patients achieve a happy and healthy smile. He continues to further his professional development to ensure he can deliver the highest quality of care to his patients.

Dr Jefferson Berlt migrated to Australia in 2019 from his hometown of Sao Jose Dos Campos in Brazil. Having completed his Bachelor of Dentistry at the University of Brazil, he then went on to study Masters of Periodontology before deciding to move to Australia.
Since arriving in Australia Jefferson has pursued his career in Dentistry and achieved recognition as a registered Dental Practitioner with the Australian Dental Council.

In 2022, following the COVID pandemic, David took a year's sabbatical to go backpacking around the world, taking him to every continent except for Antarctica. He resumed his dental practice in Brisbane in 2023 and rejoined the Coastal Dental Care family.
Beyond his dental profession, David is actively involved in the Kenya-based Acts of Compassion Foundation. He contributes to the Skribr Network, where he educates about the potential of blockchain technology. David is also a passionate sports enthusiast, supporting teams across various leagues including the NRL, English Premier League, NBA, cricket, and Rugby Union.
