A Teacher, Actress, Director and Student. She played Maggie in John B.. Keane's play Big Maggie (Director Pat Talbot) which received standing ovations each night. Her other credits include "The Way of the World", Odipus Rex, Man of La Mancha, Billy Liar, Plough and the Stars, Cass Maguire, The Trial of Jesus and many, many more. Catherine's credits in directing includes Westside Story, Sound of Music, Calamity Jane, The King and I, Grease, Hairspray, the national premieres of Fame and Back to the 80's, both shows played to standing ovations each night, CATS, Les Miserables and more recently The Little Mermaid. Her dramatic directions include Tinkers Wedding, Through the Wire, Battle of the Sexes and many more. She is a teacher in Presentation Secondary School, Artistic director of CADA Performing Arts, Ireland's progressive centre of Acting, Dancing, Filmwork, Singing and Business Communications. CADA Performing Arts is a centre where pupils reach their best potential under the guidance of a wonderful team. Catherine is on the executive Board of the Cork International Choral Festival,a member of Actors Equity, Drama League of Ireland and the Irish Film and Television Academy. This is Catherine's 24th year directing and producing the pantomime at the Everyman Palace Theatre. Catherine is presently working on a PHD in Drumcondra College.
