CANIS MAJOR THE GREAT DOG TRAINING

Canis Major "The Great Dog Training Company" was established in 1992 for the purpose of producing trained canines for Police Departments and instructing handlers in the deployment of those canines. Canines are trained in the following categories: obedience-narcotics detection-apprehension and man tracking.. Canis Major also trains private sector dogs for obedience, then schools the handlers in how to maintain the dogs' trained functions. We are a pro-American company -God Bless the USA-... For private individuals we offer Obedience training for their canine companion(s). The dogs are brought in and trained for a 7 week period. We teach the dogs the commands then take them into public venues where they learn to negotiate distractions. We also address as many general control issues as we can before the dogs return home. We hold a school so the owner will be able to use and maintain the dogs' new trained talents. A video is supplied so any time the owners need to review the handling..
