Acting as both tech lead and manager, interviewed and hired to build a fully remote new team consisting of 3 software engineers, product manager, QA engineer, and UX designer... Successfully launched a new product MVP after a 10 month rapid development phase that I designed and architected. Product tracks real time physical locations of human tissue samples (600k+), as samples move through storage containers, instruments used for genome sequencing experiments, and inter-lab shipments across multiple Tempus labs, while managing storage capacities and freeze/thaw cycles for tracking sample degradation, with complete audit history, seeking FDA certification in a mission critical 24/7 environment. Application built using React frontend; NodeJS using Typescript with NestJS framework on backend; persisted in postgresql using relational SQL, jsonb, triggers, and stored functions; deployed to GCP utilizing kubernetes containers, cloud SQL, cloud storage, and PubSub notifications...
