Mr. Adeniran Aderogba - Founder

Mr. Adeniran Aderogba is the Founder of Calag Capital Limited. A consummate professional with over 30 years' experience, Mr. Adeniran Aderogba has also served as the Executive Director, Administration and Finance at the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), the apex regulatory institution for Maritime in Nigeria. Other roles previously held by Mr. Adeniran Aderogba include Executive Director, Investment Banking and Treasury in First Atlantic Bank Plc (now part of the First City Monument Bank), where he oversaw Treasury, Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Private Banking and Collections; Treasurer and Head of Structured Trade Finance at MBC International Bank, then a subsidiary of BNP Paribas (now part of First Bank of Nigeria Plc) and Audit Senior at KPMG (Chartered Accountants). In the course of his career, Mr. Adeniran Aderogba has arranged transaction in excess of US$5 billion across diverse sectors including Telecommunications, Financial Services, Hospitality, Oil and Gas and Infrastructure and booked several landmark, award-winning deals including the Euromoney Trade Finance Deal of the Year. Mr. Adeniran Aderogba has served the Money Market Association of Nigeria as Secretary General and Vice President and was involved in the introduction of such landmark banking products as NIBOR NIFEX and foreign exchange (FX) two-way quote dealing system in Nigeria. He has attended several courses across the globe, including at the London and Harvard Business Schools and is recipient of several excellence awards. A graduate of the University of Lagos, Mr. Aderogba is a fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, ICAN. Mr. Aderogba is highly supportive of intellectual driven initiatives.

Mr. Ayo Gbeleyi

Mr. Ayo Gbeleyi is the immediate past Commissioner of Finance and pioneer Director-General of the Lagos State Office of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), the Agency driving the Government to Business (G2B) collaboration anchor policy thrust for the acceleration of infrastructure delivery. He has over a decade of distinguished banking career in senior positions of cross-functional responsibilities in financial advisory services, corporate finance, treasury and risk management, financial control and banking operations. He was a Co-partner with African Advisors and was also Chief Treasury Officer, Celtel Nigeria Limited, in his early career, he worked with NBC Plc. and was Treasurer at the former Guardian Express, Lead Merchant and Marina International Banks

Mr. Johnnie Quaicoe

Mr. Johnnie Quaicoe has wide range experience in trust and company administration, taxation, estate planning, jurisdictions and their legal and procedural differences. He was formally a manager at Caversham SA, where he held a wide range responsibility for a large portfolio of trust and compotation entities. Previously, Mr. Quaicoe served as the manager of KPMG private, where he was responsible for KPMG private's accounting department and supervised accounts and statutory filings for more than 230 entities with a total value of approximately $5 billion. He also provided customized global tax mitigation solutions. Prior to that, Mr. Quaicoe worked as an accountant for GEOGAS TRADING SA and COVANCE CLS SA, respectively. His duties included preparing various accounting analysis and reports to management (i.e. operating results by company, vessel and region,) and actively participating in monthly closing and annual audits. Mr. Quaicoe attended Webster University in Geneva, Switzerland, and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Mr. Pat Bassey - Chairman

Mr. Pat Bassey is the CEO of Pesley-PBTB Group. He has garnered over three decades of experience in professional practice, management consultancy, financial services, commerce and industry. During this period, he was a board member of First Altantic Bank Plc and later FinBank Plc where he chaired various Board Committees including the Board Strategy and Establishment, Board Credit and Investment, Board Technology (conceptualizing and driving the technology focus of the bank). In addition, he served as a member of the bank's Board Audit committee. In the course of his career he held position of Financial Services Manager at Inlaks Group where he was in charge of corporate restructuring assignments including mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Pat Bassey holds a BSc in Agriculture Economics from University of Ibadan, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and Member, Institute of Directors. He also obtained Strategic Management Corporate Finance and Project Management education and training at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA and Templeton College, Oxford.
