Anna is a Chartered Environmentalist with over 20 years' experience as a sustainability expert. She is the Chief Operating Officer at Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), part of the University of Cambridge. In this role, Anna is responsible for overseeing all of CISL's operations which underpin our mission for impact. Anna was also CISL's lead on the final stages of the Entopia Building (1 Regent Street) retrofit.

Chandran Nair

Chandran Nair is the Founder and CEO of the Global Institute For Tomorrow (GIFT), an independent pan-Asian think tank based in Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur focused on advancing a deeper understanding of global issues including the shift of economic and political influence from the West to Asia, the dynamic relationship between business and society, and the reshaping of the rules of global capitalism. Biography He is the author of Dismantling Global White Privilege: Equity for a Post-Western World , The Sustainable State : The Future of Government, Economy, and Society and Consumptionomics: Asia's Role in Reshaping Capitalism and Saving the Planet and the creator of The Other Hundred, a non-profit global photo journalism initiative to present a counterpoint to media consensus on some of today's most important issues. Chandran was chairman of Environmental Resources Management (ERM) in Asia Pacific until 2004, establishing the company as Asia's leading environmental consultancy. Chandran is a member of WEF's Global Agenda Council on Governance for Sustainability and Experts Forum. He sits on the Executive Committee of the Club of Rome, the world's premier scientific think tank, and is a Senior Fellow of CIMB ASEAN Research Institute (CARI), as well as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He is also an Advisor to the Royal Government of Cambodia on development issues. Chandran has served as Adjunct Professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore and is a former Advisor to ORIX Corporation and a former member of the Stakeholder Advisory Council for BASF, the world's largest chemical company.

Dr Florence Nabwire

Florence joined CISL in 2021 as the Prince of Wales Fellow in Public Health Nutrition in Sub-Saharan Africa supported by Brighter Living Foundation. She has a PhD in Biological Science from the University of Cambridge. She was awarded a Gates Cambridge Scholarship to conduct her PhD at MRC Human Nutrition Research (Nutrition and Bone Health Group, led by Prof. Ann Prentice). She also has a BSc in Food Science and Technology and MSc in Applied Human Nutrition from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. After her PhD, Florence was employed as an Investigator Scientist in Prof. Prentice's Group for two years. Her PhD and postdoctoral research focused on the influence of diet, nutrition and HIV status during pregnancy and lactation on bone health in African women and their children, with the aim of understanding the need for maternal calcium and vitamin D supplementation in the context of HIV. Prior to her PhD, Florence undertook work in management and prevention of acute malnutrition among children and adults, design and implementation of nutrition programmes through a health systems strengthening approach, capacity building for health workers, and technical assistance to health facilities, districts, and local governments in Uganda. She previously worked for Baylor-Uganda, where she designed and implemented a pioneering programme integrating nutrition and food security services into HIV/AIDS services at over 300 health facilities in 25 districts.

Dr Livia Ventura

Dr Ventura is the Prince of Wales Global Sustainability Fellow in Business Transformation and New Corporate Forms, supported by Anglian Water Services. Livia joined CISL in December 2021 as a Senior Research Associate, working on corporate governance and the development of a comprehensive legal framework for sustainable organisations. She applies a legal lens to business transformation with a view to fostering policy recommendations. Livia is an attorney at law with an academic background in both comparative and company law. She holds a PhD in Comparative and Uniform Business Law from Sapienza University of Rome (2013) and earned her second doctoral degree (S.J.D. - Doctor of Juridical Science) from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2018. Her studies focus on the use of business as a force for an equal and inclusive economic growth. Livia has previously served as a member of the working group for the drafting of a parliamentary initiative bill on the introduction of the ‘benefit corporation' model in Italy. She is an Adjunct Professor of Private Comparative Law at the LUISS Guido Carli Department of Law in Rome, and an Academic Fellow of the Geneva Centre for Philanthropy. In addition to several articles in Italian and international law reviews, Livia is the author of a book on The Use of ‘Internal' Asset Partitioning in Business Law: A Comparative Overview (2019).

Dr Nina Seega

Dr Nina Seega is the Director of the Centre for Sustainable Finance at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL). She is an expert in the use of risk management tools to address environmental sources of risk in the financial sector. Since 2016 she has co-led the CISL team serving as Knowledge Partner for the risk analysis track of the G20 Green Finance Study Group. Previously, Nina was the Head of the London Traded Products Desk for Dresdner Kleinwort, where she was responsible for credit risk management of traded products.

Dr Theo Hacking

Dr Theo Hacking is the Director, Postgraduate Education at CISL and oversees the development and delivery of CISL's portfolio of postgraduate programmes, which are delivered part-time for working professional. He is particularly interested in how sustainability can be incorporated into decision-making, including the process and tools that can be used to support this.

Eliot Whittington

He is Director of CISL's Corporate Leaders Groups, leading the team behind both the European and UK Corporate Leaders Group (CLG Europe and CLG UK). He also leads CLG Europe's Green Growth Partnership with leading EU climate and environment ministers.

Elizabeth Clark

Elizabeth is Programme Manager for the Investment Leaders Group (ILG), a global network of pension funds, insurers and asset managers working to advance the practice of responsible investment. Elizabeth works with the ILG to integrate social and environmental considerations into mainstream finance, as well as develop insights that solve horizon challenges facing the sustainable finance community. Previously she led the Business & Nature team at CISL, leveraging her corporate background to help business leaders develop nature-positive strategies and action on their nature commitments. Her work included leading CISL's presence at the UN Biodiversity COP (COP15) in Montreal, and developing the first sector-specific primer on science-based targets for nature. Biography Prior to joining CISL, Elizabeth spent several years in Canada's Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. Her experience spans roles in Marketing, Revenue Management, and Corporate Strategy & Development, where her recent work focused on advancing initiatives to support the company's sustainability vision. This included large scale capital investment projects, people strategies, and predicting the long-term impacts of COVID-19 on key trends. Her work has been used to advise executive leadership and the Board of Directors on emerging trends in the global food landscape, informing major investment and planning decisions. Elizabeth has a keen interest in the role business can play in enabling the environment and communities to thrive, and holds an Honours in Business Administration and a Major in History from Western University.

James has spent over 15 years working at the intersection of business, sustainability, innovation and entrepreneurship. In 2022 he launched The Canopy - CISL's incubator, accelerator and workspace in central Cambridge, to activate an international community of impact-led startups, entrepreneurs, investors and innovators.

Pat is the founder of The Purpose Business (TPB) who guide leaders to evolve business as a force for good, based out of Hong Kong and Singapore . She has more than two decades of sustainability leadership experience and is passionate about helping leaders and businesses in Asia activate purpose and grow responsibly. Biography Pat is a Senior Ass ociate at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) and sits on the Global Steering Committee of the Prince of Wales's Business & Sustainability Programme. She serves as faculty and tutor across the CISL Executive Education programmes. She sits on the Sanofi Shared Care Collective, an advosry board for the leading consumer healthcare group. Before TPB, Pat pioneered the Chief Sustainability Role for Ayala Land, the Philippines' most esteemed land developer and then for Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts as the first Global Head of CSR & Sustainability which became the first Asian hotel chain to be recognised in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index . Pat is regular keynote speaker and panel moderator on topics including purpose and leadership, responsible business, women's empowerment and inclusion. She is World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and remains a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. She is on the board of directors of Enrich, a Hong Kong-based charity dedicated to the financial literacy of migrant domestic workers.
