CONSUMER MUSIC

Consumer Music was founded by Brad Sears in 1986 in Concord, CA. It was started following the closure of Mau's Music, owned by his brother, Michael Mau. The store began with humble beginnings with a few guitars and accessories. As it grew among the musicians of the East Bay, soon it was a complete store of instruments, accessories, rentals, and lessons. In 1989, Brad decided to open a second location in the heart of Vallejo on Tennessee Street. With the help of friends and unwavering motivation, the Vallejo store was born...
