Dr. Brandon Schlakman

Dr. Brandon Schlakman was born & raised in South Florida and has a passion for outdoor activities. He later attended University of Florida for undergraduate education. Next, he received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. During his medical training he has many accolades including chapter president of the Limb Salvage society. He went on to complete his surgical residency at Jefferson Health New Jersey specializing in flatfoot and bunion correction, diabetic limb salvage, sports medicine, arthroscopy, and arthritic conditions. When hes not practicing, Dr. Schlakman is a Philadelphia sports fan. He enjoys playing golf and following fantasy football. His wife and him enjoy outdoor walks and exploring new places. Dr. Schlakman is excited to join Cornerstone Foot & Ankle and grow into the South Jersey community.

Dr. Josh Miller

Dr. Josh Miller was born and raised in Rochester, New York. He attended The State University of New York at Buffalo studying biology. Next, he moved on to the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio where he graduated at the top of his class. During his time in Cleveland, he received various awards, honors, scholarships and even served as his class president. Following school, he moved to South Jersey and completed his surgical residency with the Kennedy University Health System. Dr. Miller was the chief resident during his final year of training. He joined the Cornerstone Foot and Ankle team with a special interest in foot and ankle surgery, diabetic foot care, limb salvage and sports-related injuries. Dr. Miller enjoys watching all sports, but he most enjoys watching the Buffalo Bills. He loves spending time with his wife, Julaine and their three kids.

Dr. Ryan Andrews

Dr. Ryan Andrews grew up in Maryland with a passion for sports and was most competitive in lacrosse. He completed his undergraduate education at Mount St. Mary's University and his medical education at Temple School of Podiatric Medicine, where he received numerous awards, honors, and scholarships. He completed his surgical residency with the Jefferson Health System where he was trained in all aspects of surgery relative to the foot and ankle. He has been a part of the Cornerstone Foot & Ankle team with a special interest in Charcot reconstruction, complex deformities, revisional surgery, external fixation, and sports-related soft tissue repair. Dr. Andrews has presented his surgical work and research at multiple national and international scientific conferences and has lectured on deformity correction at regional conferences. Dr. Andrews is currently a developmental/scientific consultant for Acuitive Technologies, a division of Stryker Orthopedics. When Dr. Andrews isn't practicing podiatry, he enjoys spending time on the golf course and woodworking. He is an avid fan of the NFL and on most Sunday's you can catch him watching the Baltimore Ravens with his wife, children, and pets

Dr. William Murray

Dr. William Murray grew up right here in South Jersey, where he developed his passion for sports as a three-sport athlete. He attended Rutgers University, where he majored in Exercise Science and Sport Studies. Next, he received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. Following medical school, he completed his surgical residency with the Jefferson Health System-New Jersey Division. Dr. Murray joins the Cornerstone Foot & Ankle team with a special interest in foot and ankle reconstruction, focused on arthritic and inflammatory conditions of the foot and ankle, pediatric and adult acquired flat feet, sports injuries, and diabetic limb salvage. Dr. Murray enjoys competition, especially pick up basketball and a day of golf. He also enjoys watching almost all sports and is an avid Philly sports fan. Above all, Dr. Murray loves spending quality time with his wife and family.

Frank Oware

Dr. Oware completed his medical education at Temple School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Kennedy University Hospital in June 2014. He was the chief resident of podiatric medicine for the last two years of his training. Dr. Oware has a special interest in foot and ankle reconstruction with a particular interest in diabetic foot care, sports injuries as well as flat feet. He is a sports enthusiast and as a former soccer player, he is interested in all levels of soccer from young kids to professionals. He is a devout Eagles fan who wears his passion for the birds on his sleeve. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Taral and two children Suri and Ethan.

Taral Shah

Dr. Shah received her degree in Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University in 2011, where she received an acknowledgment for her efforts to increase awareness of Foot and Ankle medical education. She completed her 3-year surgical training in Foot and Ankle surgery at Crozer Keystone Medical Center in Upland, PA in June 2014 where she was the chief resident for the final year of her training. She joined the team of Cornerstone Foot and Ankle with a special interest in the treatment of foot and ankle injuries and deformities in children, sports-related injuries, and preventive care. Dr. Shah enjoys watching all sports, but she most enjoys watching the Eagles, Phillies, 76ers and Red Bulls games! In her free time she enjoys working out and spending time with her husband, Frank and two children Suri and Ethan.
