I have lived my entire life in the Upper Cumberland Region of Middle Tennessee. Except for a few years away in College and Law School, I have always lived in Cookeville, Tennessee. My family has been here (and Algood) since the early 1900's. We have long felt that this region, together with the surrounding counties, is the most beautiful area in Tennessee. Although Putnam County is my home base, my childhood was filled with trips to explore all that this region has to offer. To this day, I still enjoy all the activities this region has to offer such as the Cumberland County Playhouse, the Smithville Jamboree, the lakes and towns of Overton, Pickett, Dekalb, and Clay Counties, and of course, the Upper Cumberland Regional Airport located in beautiful White County!
