Adam Ghanem

Adam has been blessed to be in the industry since 2013 and looks forward to many more years of learning and growing. Prior to working in financial planning, Adam studied Neuroscience at UQ and worked in health services. He wanted to help people with their health but eventually realised that he loved numbers a lot more than he loved chemistry and made the switch to finance. Now Adam gets to help people with their financial health and hasn't looked back since. In his spare time, he loves to train or relax by the ocean, as he finds both help him to keep a clear mind and healthy body. If he's not training or by the ocean, Adam is spending time with his family.

Adam was born and raised in Tamworth, attending high school in Armidale at TAS. He spent a year in the UK as a PE assistant prior to studying externally through UNE where he completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English and History. In 2012, Adam began working in the Financial Services industry as a Client Service Manager within his family's Financial Planning business, which had been operating in Tamworth for over 30+ years creating long-term relationships with many of his clients. "I quickly learnt the importance of financial planning and the benefits of building strong client relationships based on trust." In 2015, Adam joined Invest Blue to build out the Tamworth team which now has 3 full-time Financial Planners and approximately 400 clients across the Central North, Central West and Upper Hunter areas. That same year, Adam also completed his Diploma of Financial Planning and attended the AMP Horizons Academy in Sydney. He has since also completed his Advanced Diploma in Financial Services plus holds a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning + FASEA qualifications. In his spare time, Adam loves spending time with his family -- wife Millie and their 3 children, Freddie, Viv and Valerie. After several years in the industry as a technical analyst, Adam joined Advice First (Invest Blue) in 2010 as a Financial Adviser and then became a Partner in 2013. As the firm's Retirement Specialist, Adam has a specific interest in Superannuation, Wealth management, Tax Planning, Pensions and Centrelink, Aged care, and Cash flow analysis and budgeting. Adam and his wife Susie spent their younger years living in London and traveling Europe, before returning to the Gold Coast in 2005 to get married and raise their two daughters. Adam has been with Strategic since 2015, having previously worked in Management Consulting in Hobart with KPMG. As a Financial Adviser, his aim is to improve the financial well-being of those who seek his advice and deliver on his aim to be their trusted adviser. Adam wants to be their go-to person to bounce ideas off, lay out all their options allow them to make the best possible decision that suits their specific needs and situation, and at times be their unreasonable friend that challenges them to achieve their goals and stay on track. Alana Bain

Prior to joining the Financial service industry, Alana spent 9 years in the hospitality industry, rising through the ranks to become General Manager of a Canberra Motel. Andrew, his wife Lisa and son's, Mitch and Daniel re located to Tamworth in 2010 when he started working as a financial planner, initially in a small planning practice. He moved to a Financial Planning role with the NAB in 2015 and later joined Advisory Group in 2020, which was incorporated into Invest Blue in 2021. Wayne is a true Camden local, being born in Camden Hospital and is committed to not only his clients, but also the local community. He has been involved with many local charity and community groups, and has recently been appointment to the Board of the Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation charity, which raises much need funds for facilities and services the children's ward of Campbelltown Hospital and throughout the Macarthur region. Wayne also provide pro-bono advice for patients through the cancer council.
