Christine is one of our registered hygienists; she graduated from the Diploma of Dental Hygiene in 2000. Bringing many years of dental experience, Christine joined the Cross Road Dental team in 2013. Christine is an enthusiastic, passionate and gentle hygienist who is committed to her role with its key focus on prevention. She educates her patients to the best of her ability so that together they can achieve optimal oral health.
Over the years, Christine has worked alongside cosmetic, prosthodontic and tooth erosion specialists. During her 2 years in the ACT she was part of the executive team in the ACT Dental Hygiene Association, and she is a current member of the SA Dental Hygiene Association.
Christine has also completed qualifications in bleaching and as a licensed Orthopantomogram (OPG) radiographer. She has also given voluntary talks to primary schools and nursing homes and also enjoys keeping up to date with the latest procedures and equipment by attending regular courses.
She is a mother to 3 wonderful children. Her interests are home renovation shows and socialising with friends. Christine was born and raised in Adelaide and is also fluent in Greek.

Dr. HanSam Kim, after successfully completing Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and Masters of Dentistry at Griffith University in Gold Coast, spent several years working in regional town in NSW, before returning to her hometown of Adelaide. Dr. Kim possesses a deep passion for all areas of general dentistry.
Dr Christine Brzezniak graduated from Adelaide University in 2010 and since then she has worked in various private practices in Adelaide. In late 2015 she met Dr Anthony Hoimes, and after speaking to him she realised that they shared the same passion for dentistry and running a dental practice. By 2016 her biggest dreams came to fruition when she was able to purchase the practice from Dr Hoimes and become the principal dentist and leader of the team.
She enjoys all aspects of dentistry with particular interest in root canal therapy, dental implants, Invisalign and full mouth rehabilitation. She strongly believes that all dental problems are preventable and dental care should be affordable and simple; therefore, her focus is on preventive care, applying a minimally invasive approach to her treatments, and tailoring the best treatment plan for her patients. She is very knowledgeable, efficient, gentle and her enthusiastic personality will make your visit pleasant and enjoyable.
Christine has been attending continuing professional education courses since graduating. She obtained her Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Implantology (PGCert (Dent Imp)), from the California Implant Institute in America, and has been working closely with implant specialists in Adelaide, aiming to deliver the best results for her patients. She also gained valuable knowledge of full mouth rehabilitation - also known as Smile Makeover from mini-residency of prosthodontics - provided by one of the most renowned teaching centres at CEO Dental Brisbane. She is excited to see how having a new smile can change someone's life. In addition, Christine has been an Invisalign certified provider since 2012. Her passion for dentistry constantly drives her to explore new aspects in the dental field and in providing new opportunities for her patients.
Parallel with Christine's passion for dentistry, she has a huge interest in cosmetic injectables and facial aesthetics. This includes, but is not limited to, muscle relaxant injections e.g., Botox, cosmetic fillers and growth factor concentrated blood micro needling. She is looking forward to expanding her knowledge and experience for other parts of cosmetic injectables such as thread lift, fat reduction injection and more.
As the principal dentist at Cross Road Dental Care, Christine is actively involved in mentoring young dentists in the clinic and ensuring that all services provided meet the highest standards.
Christine was born in China and moved to Australia in 2004 to study Dentistry. After graduating she married a dental technician and made Adelaide her home. She is also fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
Dr. Michael McCarthy has over 10 years of experience as a dentist. In 2011, after finishing his studies at Trinity College Dublin, Michael moved to Australia. Since then he has worked in many parts of Australia, both in the private and public sectors. In 2016, he completed a Masters in Business Administration in Healthcare through George Washington University. Currently, Michael is undertaking part-time study in a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Conscious Sedation and Pain Control) in the University of Sydney.
Michael appreciates that a patient's dental concern is only one of many aspects of their life, and seeks to simplify their treatment so the patient can rely on a predictable result. Michael performs a wide range of general dental treatments, especially enjoying Oral Surgery, and incorporates the use of relaxation gas for patient comfort.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys golfing and swimming.
Dr. Nicholas Kee graduated from Griffith University after completing a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and a Graduate Diploma of Dentistry on the Gold Coast. After which he spent many years enjoying the Queensland weather before moving to Adelaide.
Being a meticulous individual, he strives to provide high-quality care to all his patients. Nicholas enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, has a special interest in cosmetic and implant dentistry, and is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Oral Implants.
Nicholas prides himself on his thoroughness and calm, gentle approach to ensuring his patients receive optimal dental treatment in a friendly and comfortable environment.In his spare time, Nicholas can be found playing golf or spending time with family and friends.
Isabella (also known as Izi) graduated from TAFE SA after completing the Advanced Diploma of Oral Health program in 2021 and was awarded the Oral B ‘Outstanding Performance in Preventative Oral Care' Award.
Starting her career in 2016 as a dental nurse, she quickly developed a love for the dental industry. Isabella is passionate about oral health education and providing tailored oral hygiene treatments to each of her patients. She believes that prevention is the key to excellent oral health.
Isabella is fluent in both English and Tagalog (Filipino). Outside of work, Isabella enjoys going out to try different restaurants and watching true crime documentaries.
Jaymie graduated from the Advanced Diploma of Oral Health in 2018 and was awarded the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler award for overall excellence.
Jaymie has been working in the dental industry since 2015 and has experience working both in rural and metropolitan South Australia; she is passionate and committed to providing gentle dental care to all ages. She is a firm believer that prevention is far superior to cure and focuses on early intervention, prevention, and education.
Ada joined the Cross Road Dental family in 2023. She is currently training to be a dental assistant. Ada completed her Master's Degree at Monash University and will study further in the future. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies with her friends.
Anne has recently joined the practice in 2018 having many years of dental experience, particularly in Orthodontics and Periodontics. Anne enjoys interacting with our patients and her colleagues and helping patients feel at ease. In her spare time, Anne likes to socialise with family and friends and have a laugh!
Daniela has recently joined Cross Road Dental. She is a registered nurse in Colombia and moved to Australia 4 years ago, since 2021 she started working as a dental assistant and really enjoys working in this new health care field. Daniela loves to share her time with her friends and family
Emma is the newest member of our team here at Cross Road Dental. You will see Emma at the Reception Desk where she will welcome you with a friendly smile. Emma comes from a background of Office Management and applauds herself on her customer service skills. In her free time, Emma enjoys spending time with her 2 kids and family.
Erin (or Ezz as she is affectionately known) has been a dental nurse since 2010 and joined the Cross Road Dental team in 2014. Ezz is passionate about providing a high level of customer care and brings a lot of smiles and positive energy to our clinic. As head dental nurse, Ezz's role is to assist

Maria joined the Cross Road Dental family in 2021 as a sterilisation nurse. Maria completed her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Adelaide, and is looking to do more studies in the future. She loves to dance as a hobby and is a part of a dance crew in Adelaide.
Nicole is our Practice Manager and has been working at Cross Road Dental since 2012. Rosset recently joined the Cross Road Dental family this year to work as a DA and Steri Nurse. She is currently training to be a Dental Assistant and will be studying to be a Dental Hygienist in the future. She loves to dance as a hobby.
Sophie is one of the newer faces at Cross Road Dental, having joined the team in mid-2020. Having studied certificate 3 and 4 in dental assisting and over 12 years' experience in the dental industry, she is a valuable member of our team. Meg initially began her career as a dental nurse in 2004 and went on to become a Dental Hygienist in 2009, completing an Advanced Diploma of Oral Health.
Since then, Meg has had the opportunity to work in paediatric, periodontal, and general dental clinics, in both Australia and New Zealand.
Meg is particularly passionate about gum disease prevention and aims to provide high-quality dental care in a gentle and positive manner.

Nathan graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Oral Health. During his time in Melbourne, he had the opportunity to work in public, rural and private clinics. Dual qualified as a dental hygienist and dental therapist, Nathan enjoys all facets of general dentistry, with interests in prevention, children's dentistry, and managing adult periodontal disease.
Nathan strives to provide high-quality care with a holistic centred approach to patients in an environment where they feel comfortable and respected.
Nathan is a member of the Australian Dental and Oral Health Therapist Association (ADOHTA) and Dental Hygienist Association Australia (DHAA). He is dedicated to better his skills and knowledge through continued education and conferences.
Tiarne is one of our friendly receptionists who you will also see chair-side assisting the dentists. She completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting in 2018. Tiarne has a caring nature and is passionate about helping others. She is well organised and enjoys working as part of a team. Outside of work she enjoys travelling,
Victoria is one of our Dental Hygienists, graduating from the Advanced Diploma of Oral Health in 2022. Her journey in the dental field began as a dental nurse in 2019, igniting her passion for the industry.
Victoria has a deep interest in providing exceptional patient-centred care. Her primary focus is on ensuring her patients feel genuinely understood and at ease during their visits, tailoring their treatment to address their individual needs.
When Victoria isn't practicing dentistry, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
