Dr. Ching Sum Leung M.D., F.A.A.P.M.R. is a board certified physician in the field of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. He is the longest practicing Physiatrist in Chinatown, New York and the original founder of C.S. Leung Rehabilitation Medicine. He is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese. With more than 18,000 patients treated successfully, he is one of the most experienced Physiatrists in the New York City area. Dr. Leung completed his medical school training at the National Defense Medical Center in Taipei, Taiwan. He subsequently completed his Residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Long Island Jewish-Jamaica Hospital. He obtained his board-certification through the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR). He holds a New York State License in Medicine and Surgery along with a license to perform Acupuncture in the State of New York. Dr. Ching Sum Leung is a Clinical Instructor at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan. Dr. Jonathan Leung is a board certified physician in the field of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Dr. Leung is one of few medical doctors who also holds a license to practice Acupuncture. From his experience and training, he has seen that Eastern Medicine (Acupuncture) can produce excellent results, especially when administered as a compliment to traditional western medicine. Dr. Leung is an advocate of Acupuncture because of it's minimal side effects and efficacy with pain management. Dr. Jonathan Leung has more than 15 years of clinical experience in diagnosing and treating pain-related ailments including knee, back, shoulder, wrist and finger pain, as well as muscle spasms, numbness and arthritis. He works alongside his father, a veteran Board Certified Physiatrist. Dr. Leung completed his medical school training at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Old Westbury, New York in 2003. He subsequently completed his Residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Upon graduating he obtained his board-certification through the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR). He holds a New York State License in Medicine and Surgery along with a license to perform Acupuncture in the State of New York. He speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
