Bonnie J. Currie

Bonnie was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1996. She graduated cum laude from Florida State University and went on to graduate with honors from the Florida State University College of law. For over 17 years, Bonnie has enjoyed an active practice of defending employers and carriers at the trial and appellate levels in Longshore, Florida workers' compensation, and general civil matters. She has been admitted to the United States Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, and has been "AV" rated by Martindale-Hubbell for many years indicating the highest standards of ethics, legal ability and professional excellence. Bonnie has lectured on topics relating to the Longshore Act and Florida Workers' Compensation Act, and is a member of the workers' compensation section of the Florida Bar.

Brian E. Currie

Brian has been litigating and trying cases in state and federal courts throughout Florida for over 30 years. While his focus has always been medical negligence, Brian also has considerable experience handling other complex litigation, including catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases. In addition to membership in several professional associations for trial lawyers including ABOTA (American Board of Trial Advocates), Brian served on the Board of Governors of the Jacksonville Bar Association and as the Chairman of a Fourth Judicial Court Grievance Committee. He has consistently received the highest peer review ratings for ethical standards and legal ability and holds an "AV" rating according to the Martindale-Hubbell legal rating service. Brian is proud to be an Eagle Scout and his past community involvement includes service as President of Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville (Habijax), mentor in a juvenile justice program of the State Attorney's Office, high school mock trial coach and as an appointee to the Duval County School Board's Standing Committee on Desegregation.
