DBP ELECTRICAL CONSULTING - Key Persons
David Parden formed DBP Electrical Consulting in 2009 to provide freelance electrical estimating services and electrical estimator training. DBP Electrical Consulting has obtained the highest level of peer review for services provided as a consulting firm by CERT (Consulting Estimators Round Table) - and has achieved VCEF status (Validated Consulting Estimating Firm).
David has over 30 years of experience in the electrical industry. His first electrical job was as an electrician's helper. Through the years as he gained experience he rose through the ranks to become a journeyman, a job foreman, and then an electrical contractor before becoming a full time electrical estimator in 2001. Since 2001 David has also doubled as a project manager when needed.
As an estimator David has successfully been awarded many electrical projects ranging in value from a few thousand dollars to exceeding several million. He has experience estimating commercial, institutional, civil, industrial, and residential projects in both the private sector and government markets.
David has been certified on Maxwell Systems Electrical Estimation since 2001 and currently holds a Master Electrician Certificate for the State of Colorado and a Master Electrician Certificate in Alabama. David attended Southeast College of Technology in Mobile Alabama and has a degree in the field of Electronic Technology.
David began offering training to his clients shortly after opening in 2009 when it became apparent that there was a need for those services. DBP Electrical Consulting provides training based on the specific individual needs of the client. In January of 2011 David released his estimating manual "Beyond the Math: The Electrical Estimating Process".
