DAVIS HOME INSPECTIONS - Key Persons

Jim Davis owns and operates Davis Home Inspections. Jim has over 40 years experience in residential and commercial construction. His career has given him a unique perspective on home construction, and he brings to his home inspection business an experienced eye that has overseen almost every aspect of residential construction. He is someone who knows buildings inside and out. Jim's experience as a residential builder started in 1978. He has built homes in Lexington, Nicholasville, Georgetown, Winchester, and Richmond. Jim worked as a carpenter at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Lexington and owned a home remolding business from 1985 to 1997. The remodeling business did room additions, roofing, fencing, decks and residential and commercial remodeling. He worked as a construction supervisor for the federal government from 1991 and retired in 2011. His duties included structural upkeep in residential and commercial buildings, as well as servicing electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning systems, maintaining and repairing roofs, and overseeing new construction.
