DANCE PARTNERS - Key Persons
Kynan grew up in Adelaide and moved to Melbourne to complete his dance training at The Australian Ballet School. Upon graduating Kynan accepted a position with The Australian Ballet Company and performed in all major classical ballets and most contemporary ballets both locally and overseas from 1993 to 1999.
On leaving the company Kynan taught for various dance schools throughout Melbourne and also completed his Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning. He is a regular guest teacher for Royal Academy of Dance events and the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School.
Leticia did her early ballet training in Melbourne and moved to Sydney to study dance full time. Returning to Melbourne Leticia performed with the Rex Reid Dance Company and later travelled overseas to New York to further her dance career.
Leticia returned to Melbourne to pursue a teaching career and worked with the Port Melbourne Kindergarten, Methodist Ladies College elite gymnastics program and established a ballet program at St Michaels Grammar School. She also opened and directed Dance Precinct in North Melbourne from 1998 to 2020.
Leticia has been a registered teacher through the Royal Academy of Dance since 1994 and has also completed the Advanced Diploma of Teaching in the Australian Ballet Schools system of training.
