In 1982, EMS European Maintenance Service AB was founded as Göteborgs AERO, serving a large inventory of general aviation aircraft in the Gothenburg region. A continuous development of the company led to larger aircrafts being served and also ventures into corporate jet aviation... In October 2022 the sister company ELM was formed and the airline line maintenance branch was transferred into the new company. EMS remains with base maintenance Business jets with service center status on several brands, and a wide component capability.
