EVERYONE BELONGS

On May 28, 2003, the DDRC launched the "everyone belongs" campaign, with the goal of creating a social brand that would communicate the value to everyone when people with developmental disabilities were included in everyday life... The everyone belongs™ social campaign was launched by the Developmental Disabilities Resource Centre of Calgary on May 28, 2003 with the goal of demonstrating the importance of including people with developmental disabilities in our communities. The campaign's message was so well received by the community that it soon evolved to represent the agency's belief that Calgary is more vibrant, healthy, safe, strong, and satisfying when all people are welcome, regardless of ethno-cultural background, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender, or socioeconomic class.
