Gavin has been involved with the oil and gas industry since 1980. Building on a history of quality workmanship, he founded Fleming's Welding Service in 1994, establishing a workshop and yard in Roma to complement field services. Gavin continues to oversee our operations, ensuring quality standards of workmanship and service are consistently met.
Mark has exceptional problem-solving abilities and is driven by customer satisfaction. He has over 20 years' experience in the mechanical and fabrication fields and is a fully-qualified and highly experienced fitter and turner. Mark's professional qualifications include a Certificate III in Fabrication, Certificate IV in Engineering-Welding, Certificate IV Workplace Health and Safety, AS1796 Certificate 10 Welding Supervisor and NACE CIP Level 2.

Maurice is a mechanical engineer with more than 10 years' experience working in the power and energy industry. Skilled in engineering design, manufacturing process control, project management, 3D simulation and analysis, he has a keen ability to rapidly take products from concept to market with the least amount of economic and material waste. Maurice holds a master's degree focused on ‘heat transfer mechanics' from the University of the Witwatersrand and is a strong advocate for system improvement practices, such as reliability engineering and lean manufacturing.
Michael is our procurement manager with over 5 years' experience navigating the Australian market for valves, specialised steels, piping components and project-specific fittings. With exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, he has the ability to execute our procurement strategies effortlessly in order to ensure capital expenditure is minimised and value maximised throughout the entire supply chain. Michael's hands-on approach to strategic sourcing, coupled with a passion for auto-detailing, has given him a sharp eye for fine details, which is proven in his ability to reduce complexity, shorten turn-around times and ensure an uninterrupted supply to our clients.
