Fruitzen is a Cedar Rapids, IA based company that provides assorted flavors of lip balm, fruit bars, shaved ice, and more!... Fruitzen is a family business. It all started because I loved the shaved ice snow cones I tried while visiting my future wife, Heather, in her hometown one summer during college. I had a dream of being a writer and didn't really like having a boss (I'm kind of a sassafrass, you know…) so I thought I'd try opening my own business. Fruitzen started in 2002 as a shaved ice stand in Marion, Iowa.
