Gerber Topsoil LLC was founded in 1988 by Ken Gerber. The business that started out as a "Mom & Pop" operation with a screener, one loader and one red Mack dump truck has become one of the largest, well know, & respected family owned topsoil businesses in Central New York. In 2001 when Ken passed away his wife, Janet, continued to run the business with their son, Rob and became certified as a WBE. Through the years the business has expanded and evolved from just the sale of topsoil to many other facets of the construction industry including but not limited to containers, excavation, demolition, grading, lawn and septic system repair or installation, snow and asbestos removal. Anything our customers need or want is a possibility. Recently Gerber Topsoil LLC became a third generation family business when Rob's son started working in the office...
