Anna Farrell

Anna is a Research Associate at Gibson Consultants. She works closely with the internal team, providing support for various projects, and helps support recruiters and the team in their daily endeavors. Originally from Charlotte, NC, Anna came to Wilmington in 2021 for not only her education, but because of her love for the beach. She enjoys fitness, going to coffee shops and being involved within her sorority. Her sorority leadership positions and membership in various academic organizations offered opportunities for growth in her skill set. Paired with her experience at her retail job, Anna has honed her customer service and problem-solving skills through professional experiences. Before joining the team at Gibson Consultants, these roles have equipped her with the ability to communicate effectively, time management, organization and analytical skills. Anna is set to graduate from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in May 2025, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration concentrating in Marketing Strategy. Her active participation in business-oriented clubs, including the American Marketing Association and Women in Business, reflects her passion for the field and her commitment to continuous learning and networking.

Ben Holroyd

Ben is a Research Associate at Gibson Consultants. He supports the recruiters and the team to the best of his abilities by working closely with the team and providing support for various tasks and projects. Before working at Gibson Consultants, Ben worked as an intern at a large hospital in Dallas/Fort Worth, where he gained knowledge and understanding on how a hospital is run from the administrative side. His work experience has given him skills in research, time management, proactive learning, organization, and leadership. Ben grew up in Cary, NC and then moved out to Dallas, TX halfway through high school. He eventually decided to come to Wilmington in 2020 for college. He enjoys running, reading, golf, and playing music. Benjamin is passionate about helping those around him. He loves to volunteer at his local church in multiple areas such as student ministries.

Betsy Wertheimer - VP

Vice President, Executive Search: Payer Market & Digital Health | 973-951-9538 Betsy is a Vice President, Executive Search focused on placing senior executives in the payer and group insurance market. Before joining Gibson Consultants in 2003, Betsy had an 18-year career with Aetna. She held positions ranging from account executive and marketing manager, to vice president of account management, vice president of sales, and ultimately general manager. As general manager, Betsy was responsible for a 1.2 million-member health plan, which was rated the #1 plan in the state by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services. Directing a staff of 240, Betsy oversaw departments that included Medicare and commercial sales and service, provider relations, network management, quality management and local operations. Betsy received her B.S. in Marketing from Lehigh University.

Colin Dittus

As Vice President, Consulting, Colin is focused on building the Interim and Contract solutions offering for Gibson's digital health and health plan clients. Colin brings 20+ years of interim and executive search, with expertise in meeting complex business goals through the alignment of flexible talent solutions. His background spans business development, recruiting, and operational leadership. Prior to Gibson Consultants, Colin worked for MRI Network's franchise system and corporate office for over 16 years. Most recently, Colin was Sr. Director, Operations and Development for MRI's Contract Staffing business, where he led two key organizational transformations and 250% revenue growth. Additionally, Colin helped to grow the most profitable franchise in MRI's 55+ year history, where he built the top-ranked global contract staffing practice and was the number one personal producer globally in the contact staffing / interim category. Colin is a proud parent of four children. Outside of work, Colin enjoys coaching baseball, is a passionate (not angry!) Philadelphia sports fan, and enjoys music & concerts. Colin obtained his Bachelor's in Psychology and played football at Millersville University.

Emily Cox

Emily is the Vice President of People Operations and is driving Gibson's HR initiatives, regulatory compliance, internal recruiting, and training programs. Before Gibson Consultants, she oversaw HR in the Heavy Civil Construction industry for the last 7 years. She is a dedicated professional with a diverse HR background and strong experience in regulatory compliance, employee engagement initiatives, payroll, internal recruiting, training, and other HR facets. In her current role, Emily wears many hats as she partners with Management to drive employee engagement initiatives, streamline HR processes and bring in talented recruiters! She coordinates and manages training programs for current and new staff employees. While also overseeing the day-to-day office needs for Gibson. When not at work, Emily enjoys reading and arts and crafts. In the summertime, you'll find her on the local beaches reading and working on her tan. She enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures and once a year Emily endeavors to travel to a new country - Switzerland is now on the list! Emily received a B.S. in Business Administration with a Minor in Marketing from the University of Maryland University College. She currently holds active SHRM-CP and PHR certifications as well.

Jim Gibson - President

Job Titles:

Jim founded Gibson Consultants in 2002 after careers in healthcare technology and group health insurance. At Dictaphone Healthcare, he was responsible for selling advanced speech recognition solutions to hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers. Working with the product management group, he also helped position Dictaphone's automated coding, NLP, and handheld charge capture solutions. As Vice President of Sales for HSS, Jim was responsible for nationwide direct and third-party sales of coding, case mix classification, and prospective payment system (PPS) software to hospitals and health plans. Before HSS, Jim sold the DIAMOND claim system for Health Systems Design and clinical guidelines and administrative services for Health Risk Management. Prior to his healthcare technology career, he spent nine years with Prudential Healthcare in sales, sales management, and hospital contracting. Jim was also responsible for account management for the eastern region of MHN, a managed behavioral health company. Jim's value for fulfilling work is the foundation for why he started Gibson Consultants. Jim says, "We're helping people with their careers while helping our clients build winning teams. We're giving our team members rewarding career opportunities and creating meaningful, high-paying jobs for Wilmington, my adopted hometown. An added plus is that, as I've gotten older, I've learned how gratitude and humility drive happiness and fulfillment. I wish I learned THAT one a lot sooner!" Margaret Stamatis - COO

Margaret Stamatis is the Chief Operating Officer at Gibson Consultants. She joined Gibson Consultants in 2013 as part of its research department, specifically assisting the Executive Search Consultants with candidate searches. Since joining the company, her responsibilities have grown to include marketing initiatives, operations, accounting, human resources, and special projects for Gibson Consultants. Prior to joining Gibson Consultants, Margaret enjoyed a 20-year career in marketing, notably sponsorship consulting and national consumer promotions. Most recently, she led a team as Vice President at Team Epic, a sports sponsorship agency matching clients with sponsorship properties and activating sponsorships to advance brand objectives. Her responsibilities included client and property lead, contract consultation, athlete negotiation, internal P&L and client activation budgets, analysis of property opportunities, and overall management of event activation teams. Margaret is a dedicated volunteer for organizations and causes that benefit community youth. Her muse is Brene Brown, and her family and co-workers are her daily inspiration. Margaret values character and believes character is defined by who you are when no one is looking. The number 4 is her favorite number because she has 4 boys, is the oldest of 4 sisters, and has participated in 4 marathons and 4 sprint triathlons. Margaret's inspiration to share is, "That's what alchemists do. They show that, when we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better, too." (The Alchemist) Margaret holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School, an M.S. in Sport Management from UMass Amherst, and a B.A. from Trinity College.
