Dr Dan Robson

Job Titles:
  • Small Animal Veterinarian
Dan is a true local, having grown up in Bacchus Marsh and graduating from Melbourne Uni. Dan now lives in New Gisborne with his wife, our Dr Jane and their 3 children. Dan spent his early years working in Dairy cattle practice, before a locuming stint in the UK. Dan joined the Gisborne Vet Clinic in 2002 first as an employee and later becoming a partner in ownership of the business before its more recent sale to corporate owners. Dan enjoys small animal medicine and general surgery having over 20 years of experience. His warm laid-back style is endearing to all our clients and his sense of humour is a hidden treasure.

Dr Holly Lambert

Holly grew up in the Macedon Ranges on a small angus farm with various animals (always lots of ponies!). This is where her passion for animal care and the pursuit to become a vet started. Luckily she loved sciences and went on to complete a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne, followed by the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine landing on the Dean's Honours List in her final year. She has seen a range of practice through her studies and completed an externship at the University of Copenhagen Equine Hospital. After working for a couple of years in small animal practice and shelter medicine in Melbourne Holly has returned to the best part of Victoria and taken up a position as Veterinary Associate at Gisborne Veterinary Clinic! Holly loves the diversity and ever-changing nature of mixed practice vet life and enjoys being part of an incredible and supportive team. When she isn't in the clinic, Holly loves long distance running and can often be found hitting up the tracks and trails with her Kelpie "Clyde".

Dieuwerke Schepers is one of the Small Animal Veterinarians at the Gisborne Veterinary Clinic and has special interests in radiology and ultrasound examinations, internal medicine and dentistry. She wanted to be a vet since a very young age and particularly enjoys observing the bond between pets and their human owners. Her aim as a veterinarian is to restore the animal companions back to the best health possible through providing excellent veterinary medicine and care. At the Gisborne Veterinary Clinic she is responsible for delivering particularly the cancer medicine support including chemotherapy where appropriate. Jayne began her career at the Gisborne Veterinary Clinic working as a veterinary nurse. Growing up on a farm in country Victoria, Jane has been passionate about animals for as long as she can remember. A Melbourne Uni graduate, Jane has over 20 years experience as a vet. She has a particular interest in small animal internal medicine and is a keen soft tissue surgeon. She enjoys caring for a variety of small animals including dogs, cats, birds, rodents and reptiles, as well as helping our precious local wildlife. Jane (along with husband and fellow vet Dr Dan) is a Gisborne local. She loves the Macedon Ranges and the local community where she has lived, worked and raised her family for over 15 years. Jane and Dan's children are also animal enthusiasts and have blessed the home with guinea pigs, leaf insects, tropical fish, rare breeds of chickens and an Australia featherleg tarantula. Candace began working at the Gisborne Veterinary Clinic in 2018 as a locum vet. She has since been recruited as an official team member in 2021 and travels between multiple clinics in the Macedon Ranges. She graduated in 2013 from her veterinary studies and has worked in Bendigo, Wangaratta, Melbourne and the UK before returning home to the Macedon Ranges. Candace has a passion for preventative health care, feline behaviour, allergic skin disease and surgery. She enjoys the diversity of work provided in general practice. She is an advocate for fear free handling techniques for dogs and cats who visit veterinary clinics for care, and ensures that both owners and animals feel safe and secure during their visits.
