HAVEN HOMECARE

Haven Homecare was originally established more than 25 years ago with a bequest from a member of Rhiwbina Baptist Church in north Cardiff. The original trustees considered establishing a residential home but their efforts eventually proved unsuccessful. In 2005 the trust was relaunched with a new board of trustees and a vision to provide care for older people living in their own homes in north Cardiff... As this service developed we became aware that our clients had more complex personal care needs which we were unable to address and this resulted in us having to hand care over to other agencies. In 2011 the trustees committed Haven to register as a provider of domiciliary personal care and Haven was formally registered in 2013. Since then we have been able to offer increasingly complex and intensive packages of care often coordinated with other services...
