VETERINARIAN IN WICHITA - Key Persons

Dr. Robinson grew up in Wichita, Kansas where she started pursuing her dream of becoming a veterinarian at the age of 16 by working at Indian Hills Animal Clinic as an animal care assistant while in high school. She then attended Kansas State University and received her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science in 2011. Amber went on to attend Veterinary College at Kansas State University and graduated with her DVM in 2013. After graduation, she was an associate veterinarian in Katy, Texas, but quickly grew tired of being 9 hours away from family! She moved back to Kansas and took an associate's position at a clinic near Kansas City. There she practiced for the last seven years. In May 2021 she started working at Indian Hills Animal Clinic which allowed her to be back in her hometown! Professionally, she has a great interest in small animal internal medicine, preventative care, and diagnostic medicine. Amber is married to her wonderful husband Scott. They recently became first-time homeowners and are excited to make their house a home. She has an adorabble greyhound mix, Cosmo, and an 8-year-old cat, Willie (orange tabby) that she loves dearly. She also enjoys being an active member of her church, crafting, watching movies, and shopping.

Dr. Erin Hiskett grew up just outside of Wichita, KS and attended Kansas State University for both her undergraduate and veterinary medicine degrees. After earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from KSU in 2008, she practiced mixed animal medicine in Illinois and Arkansas before moving back to the Wichita area in 2011. She was the veterinarian at McConnell Air Force Base Vet Clinic for nearly 12 years before joining the Indian Hills Animal Clinic team in 2023. Dr. Hiskett has special interests in dermatology, preventative and geriatric medicine as well as internal medicine. And thanks to her time working on an air force base she also has lots of experience with international health certificates! Outside the clinic Dr. Hiskett enjoys spending time with her family, doing silly crafts (like making costumes for her Clydesdale Gregor), home improvement projects, reading and being forced to stream worthless reality TV when her dog, Mac, and her cat, Chuck, decide it's times to snuggle with her on the couch.

Dr. Hill was born and raised in Wichita, KS. Her passion for veterinary medicine blossomed when she was in elementary school and followed her throughout college. She went to Newman University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology in 2009 and then proceeded to attend Kansas State University where she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Jenna's professional interests include internal medicine, ultrasound imaging, and preventative medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Kansas Veterinary Medical Association, Wichita Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, and the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Dr. Hill is married to Andy, a math teacher and basketball coach at Northwest High School. She's also the proud mom of two kids - Lucas and Haylee and a playful beagle mix named Doug. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Beetch was raised in SE Kansas in the small rural town of Oswego. She grew up on an 80 acre farm participating in the family farm obligations and helping out in the summers with the family owned Korinek Brothers Sawmill. She grew her appreciation for animals and animal health by dedicating 10+ years to her local 4-H chapter. She raised and showed horses, sheep, and rabbits through the Labette county fair. After her 1st grade decision to become a Veterinarian and her high school FFA teacher encouraging her to achieve her goals, she started her veterinary medicine dream by attending Pittsburg State University to start her undergraduate studies. She attended PSU for 2 years and then transferred to Kansas State University where she attended and graduated from the KSU College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 1996. Dr. Beetch changed career pathways when she left a mixed animal practice after 13 years of service to join Indian Hills Animal Clinic in August of 2016 (Some may still remember her as Dr. Thompson). She is excited to concentrate her efforts on small animal medicine with interests in: soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, exotic animal medicine, dermatology, ophthalmology, internal medicine and preventative medicine. She truly appreciates the human-animal bond and enjoys helping people with their 4 legged fur babies! Dr. Beetch resides in Newton with her husband Kevin. They have a very active family with 5 grown children. In her free time, you will find her volunteering for local charities, spending time on nature walks, bike riding, photography, and doing crafts.

Dr. Neisius spent most of her childhood growing up in Wichita, KS. She attended Kansas State University where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the KSU College of Veterinary medicine in 2005. After graduation she was employed at the Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital of Wichita. She joined the Indian Hills Animal Clinic team in July of 2006. In January of 2013, she purchased the practice and became the sole owner of both clinic locations. Dr. Neisius' professional interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry and internal medicine. She is a member of the Wichita Veterinary Medical Association, Kansas Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, The American Heartworm Society, The International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management and The American Association of Feline Practitioners. In 2012, Dr. Neisius was nominated and served on the board of directors for the Kansas Humane Society- being the chairman of the board for the 2016 year. Dr. Neisius is always happy to give back to the Wichita community by volunteering as the Veterinarian on Duty at Woofstock and organizing Wichita's annual Dog-N-Jog fundraiser event! When not at work, you'll catch Dr. Neisius and her shih tzu, Stanley, supporting the Friends University Baseball team, coached by her husband, Adam, or trying to cook "like the fancy chefs on tv!"
