Jennifer's philosophy about therapy is reflected in her collaborative approach to treatment. Therapy is based on active participation of both the client and the therapist. Typically, the client brings forth concerns, issues to explore and problems to resolve, and through the interaction with the therapist, gains a clearer understanding of the matters being discussed. The therapist listens and provides relevant information, guidance and feedback in order to facilitate the client's progress. By applying awareness to what the client learns, the client will be in a stronger position to effect changes in their life and to make wiser decisions in reaching goals.
