K.D. COLLEGE

A decade has passed since the assessment and accreditation of the college with B+ Grade by National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) of University Grants Commission (UGC). It may appear to be a delay on the part of the college for the 2 nd Cycle. But the decade is momentous as it has witnessed a root and branch transformation of the college - a makeover from "Kaibalyadayini College of Commerce" to "K. D. College of Commerce and General Studies", a metamorphosis of a single Faculty-College into a college of eight Departments... Honours Courses in 'Accounting & Finance' and 'Marketing Management' are offered presently under commerce stream with general Course of Studies. In Arts stream we offer Honours in Bengali , English and other General Courses of Studies. In Science stream we offer Geography Hons.
