Mark has practised in most areas of general civil litigation during his legal career, spanning over 30 years. He provides advice and representation to large self-insured public corporations in a multitude of jurisdictions, covering all manner of workplace issues including workers compensation, unfair dismissal, equal opportunity and bullying and harassment claims. Mark has acted as file principal in numerous motor vehicle, general personal injury and statutory recovery litigation matters involving the seriously injured. His experience in this area over a lengthy period of time has placed him in an excellent position to appreciate claims which require thorough investigation and involving complex economic loss issues. With his experience as the former National Manager of a leading Australian law firm's Quality and Business Management System, Mark brings a lateral approach to the solving of legal issues affecting his clients. That experience also ensures that Mark maintains a strong client focus and is always looking to assist clients in improving their own workplace practices. Mark has consulted to various large statutory and public corporations in relation to claims management issues, and has been integral to many special projects undertaken in this regard, often involving the establishment of new policies and procedures to help integrate statutory changes into a claims management framework, as well as advice on the application of statutory changes to everyday claims. Mark has spoken at many industry events, from national conferences to small industry focussed associations, on areas of special interest. Matilda, or Tilly as she is commonly known in-house, transitioned to the position of solicitor upon being admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia in April 2022. Since joining the firm Matilda has had the opportunity to assist all three partners across a variety of practice areas such as workers compensation, dust diseases, national heavy vehicle Law, debt recovery, and more. She also helps support Neville conduct our industrial relations advice service. Matilda, or Tilly as she is commonly known in-house, commenced working at KJK Legal as a law clerk in January 2022 and transitioned to the position of solicitor upon being admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia in April 2022. Since joining the firm Matilda has had the opportunity to assist all three partners across a variety of practice areas such as workers compensation, dust diseases, national heavy vehicle law, debt recovery, and more. Matilda graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management). He has over 26 years of extensive experience providing advice and assistance to employers in both litigious and non-litigious matters. His clients range from multi-national corporations to small local businesses. He has particular expertise in advising and representing employers of all sizes in all aspects of employment and workers compensation law, from contracts and agreements, through to terminations, where often the combination of injury, performance issues, and potential discrimination claims can pose dilemmas for clients. As a member of the South Australian Road Transport Association Board, he has first-hand knowledge of the issues confronting the heavy vehicle industry and has represented hundreds of companies, operators and drivers in court when faced with prosecution, assisted in the resolution of charges laid or investigations conducted, as well as providing specialised advice to transport operators in all areas of his expertise. She has experience in appearing in the District Court and Magistrates Court jurisdiction as well as the South Australian Employment Tribunal.

Tracey was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in 1983. Following a period as an Associate to a Judge of the Supreme Court, Tracey commenced practice in 1986, initially with Aldermans which subsequently became Piper Alderman, a national law firm. Tracey left Piper Alderman to establish KJK Legal with several colleagues from that firm in October 2011. After more than 30 years in practice, Tracey has developed an extensive practice in workers compensation, work health and safety, and insurance litigation. Tracey acts for both registered and self-insured employers, and her clients include a number of "blue chip" companies. Tracey has acted as a consultant to a number of clients in providing in-house advice on particular files and/or issues. More recently, she has assisted clients in updating policies procedures as a result of the introduction of the Return To Work Act 2014. Tracey has expertise in general insurance, particularly public liability claims and recovery claims for self-insured corporate entities.
