Michael Gabriel graduated from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2000 and was awarded First Class Honours and the University Medal. Michael's research on stretching featured in the British Medical Journal and the Australian Journal of Physiotherapy. In 2019, he was awarded the title of an APA Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist. In 2020, Michael completed the requirements of Level 2 ASCA Strength and Conditioning Coach, with his paper on the management of tendinopathies being selected for publication in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research. And in 2021, he was awarded the accreditation of High Performance Manager by ESSA. Michael first joined Jubilee Sports Physiotherapy in 2001. In 2002, he moved to the UK where he took up a number of appointments in the British National Health Service as a physiotherapist and student educator. Whilst in the UK, Michael was also appointed as a physiotherapist by Fulham FC for three seasons in the English Premier League. On returning to Australia, Michael returned to Jubilee Sports Physiotherapy and has since become a principal at the practice. Michael has a particular interest in football related injury management, rehabilitation and performance enhancement. His appointment at Fulham FC helped pave his way into the NSW Premier League, where he has spent almost 2 decades involved in the physiotherapy coverage of the Sutherland Sharks FC and St George FC. In 2013, Michael was appointed by Football Australia as a National Teams' Physiotherapist, providing coverage and support on international camps and tournaments; most recently attending the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, Qatar, with the Socceroos and the 2024 WAFF u23s Championship, Saudi Arabia, with the Australian u23s Men's football team (Olyroos). Michael is currently appointed as Head Physiotherapist to the Australian u20s Men's football team, the Young Socceroos.

James Pearce

James Pearce graduated from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2008. James joined Jubilee Sports Physiotherapy on completion of his First Year Graduate program at St George Hospital, which encompassed all areas of physiotherapy including orthopaedics, musculoskeletal outpatients and hydrotherapy. James has an enthusiasm for football and football related rehabilitation and injury management stemming from six years of playing in the NSW Premier Leagues, representing both the Rockdale City Suns FC and Sydney University. James was the physiotherapist to the Sutherland Sharks FC in the NSW Premier Youth League for seasons 2010-2012 and toured to China with the Central Coast Mariners youth squads in 2010. For a number of years James represented Campbelltown City Quake Futsal Club in the NSW Futsal Premier League Competition and has been selected in both the NSW and Australian representative squads. James is currently a part of the Kirrawee Kangaroos PL1 side who won the State Cup and Premiership in 2018. Late in 2012, James moved to the UK to pursue international experience as a physiotherapist. Whilst in the UK James took up a number of appointments in the British National Health Service as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist where he gained valuable experience working with pain specialist teams. In 2014, James was fortunate enough to attend the 23rd International Football Conference run in conjunction with FIFA in Milan. James returned to Jubilee Sports Physiotherapy in April 2014, where he was once again appointed physiotherapist to the Sutherland Sharks FC in the NSW Premier Youth League. He now provides coverage for the Sharks FC senior in the NSWPL. In 2019, James was appointed by Football Australia (FA) to assist in the coverage of the Australian Futsalroos. More recently, James has taken on work in the area of occupational physiotherapy and holds an appointment as a physiotherapist to SIMEC, Glencore, Xstrata Coal at Tahmoor mine and Kellogg's. Having suffered a right knee ACL rupture in 2016 and subsequently undergoing the 12-month rehabilitation process to return to football, James has a passion to not only help rehabilitate those with ACL reconstructions but also implement prevention strategies. James has an enthusiasm for football and football related rehabilitation and injury management stemming from six years of playing in the NSW Premier Leagues, representing both the Rockdale City Suns FC and Sydney University. Jason Skyllas

Jason graduated from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Health Science in 2012. In 2015, he completed postgraduate studies at Macquarie University and was awarded a Doctor of Physiotherapy. His research paper: ‘The effectiveness of physical therapies for patients with base of thumb Jason has a keen interest in sports related injury management and developing strength and conditioning programs for aspiring athletes. This stems from many years of participating in numerous sporting teams. He is a past representative of West Sydney Berries in the NSW Premier League and he currently plays for the Kirrawee Kangaroos PL side. His passion for football extends into his professional career as he held the position as of Head Youth Physiotherapist for Sutherland Sharks FC in the NSW Premier League between 2015 - 2020, which has also involved the successful implementation of injury prevention, strength and conditioning and FIFA 11+ warm ups, as well as working closely with injury management and rehabilitation of the senior squads.

Kieran Rooney

In 2013, Kieran was appointed as a physiotherapist to Football Australia. Since this time he has worked with the Socceroos, Olyroos and Young Socceroos. Kieran attended the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with the Olyroos (U23s) squad. And is currently appointed as physiotherapist to the Socceroos (Australian Men's Football Team). Kieran has had extensive experience with various sporting teams and associations at all levels of competition. His past experience includes six seasons as the head physiotherapist to the St George Dragons Rugby League Football Club in the NRL along with physiotherapy appointments at the Cronulla Sharks Rugby League Football Club Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Rugby League Football Club and the Sydney Kings in the NBL. Kieran's regular clientele include multiple Olympic and Commonwealth Games gold medallists and members of both the Australian Cricket team. He remains a long standing accredited service provider to the NSW Institute of Sport, working with the state's elite athletes and coaches. He is a founding member and executive committee member of the NSW Football Medicine Association which aims to improve player welfare in all levels of football. As a keen footballer himself, having played at state level for a number of years, Kieran has a particular interest in football related rehabilitation, injury management and performance enhancement. Mitchell has an enthusiasm for all things sport having represented his schools in everything from football and cricket to softball and lawn bowls. He continues to actively represent Gymea United FC in the SSFA competition. In 2018, Mitchell was appointed as physiotherapist to the Sutherland Sharks FC teams in the NSW National Premier League, a role that continues aiding in the successful implementation of injury prevention and management, strength and conditioning and FA warm ups. She also gained experience in paediatrics, geriatrics and sports/musculoskeletal settings. On completion of her studies, Nicole joined Jubilee Sports Physiotherapy. For the past 13 years, Nicole has played football at a representative level. She is now currently the captain of the St George FC 1st Grade Women's NPL team. Nicole has a keen interest in the prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and sports related injuries. This stems from her own participation in a wide variety of sports. These include everything from football and dancing, to oztag and strength and conditioning in the gym. Nicole takes pleasure in developing and implementing a tailored rehabilitation program and is keen to help others realise their physical potential and assist them to reach their goals. Sam Leslie

Sam Leslie grew up on the South Coast, before moving to Wollongong in 2015 to complete a Bachelor of Exercise Science. He was awarded Top Student during his second year and completed his degree in 2017. Sam later moved further north to Cronulla to undertake a Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Technology, Sydney. During this time, he had experience working with the Newcastle Jets in the A-league and worked as a Sports Trainer for multiple football, rugby and AFL teams. Sam completed his master's degree in 2019. After completing his studies, Sam worked in private practice where he gained valuable experience in treating complex lumbo-pelvic conditions. He later joined the Jubilee Sports Physiotherapy team in 2021. Sam has developed a strong interest in treating injuries related to football, surfing and tennis. He takes pleasure in developing tailored rehabilitation programs with the aim to alleviate pain and enhance performance.
