DANIEL FRIEDLAND

Daniel is experienced in management, sales, acquisitions, leveraging, leasing, and 1031 tax-free exchanges. As a partner at Kent Street, he operates or provides asset management services for properties ranging from Connecticut to Texas. In addition to being a real estate broker, Daniel is an attorney and a member of the New York bar association. He holds an M.A. in foreign relations and economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a law degree from the University of Michigan. Prior to joining Kent Street Properties, Daniel was an Associate at the DC law firm Patton Boggs, where he advised clients on issues including international trade and public policy.

DARLENE MCDONALD

  • PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT
With twelve years of experience in real estate bookkeeping and accounting, Darlene handles payables, receivable, payroll and record keeping for all of Kent Street's commercial properties. Prior to working in real estate, Darlene was a Teller Supervisor for Chase Bank.

KENNETH FRIEDLAND

Ken has been a real estate broker, managing agent, and owner of commercial property for over 40 years. In 1979, he created The Garth Organization, a Manhattan-based leasing and management company that remains active in the midtown office market. After graduating Brooklyn Law School, Ken spent several years as an associate attorney in the real estate department of the Manhattan law firm of Proskauer Rose Goetz & Mendelsohn. He was a co-founder and past president of the East 86th Street Business Association, served for three years as president of the Yorkville-East 86th Street Business Improvement District Association and he was appointed to serve on Manhattan's Community Board 8 by the Borough President . He was a long time member of The Real Estate Board of New York and a member of the Board of Directors of The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce.
