Alrik joined Kastell in May 2022. He specialises in commercial dispute resolution, and is active in both litigation and arbitration, with a particular focus on contract and damages claims. As well as having many years' experience in private practice, Alrik has also spent time as an intern at Attunda court.

Carl started working at Kastell in April 2012. Prior to Kastell Carl had worked at other law firms focusing on the areas of dispute resolution and public procurement. He has been legal counsel in commercial court and arbitration proceedings representing both Swedish and foreign clients from various industry sectors. Carl has many years' working experience in supporting both buyers and suppliers in public procurement processes. He has been representing counsel in matters regarding public procurement reviews in a range of sectors, foremost procurements regarding IT and office supplies, staffing services, pharmaceuticals and within the transport sector.

Eugenia Arksand

Eugenia joined Kastell in March 2024, and specialises in public procurement. She works primarily with procurement law procedures and providing legal advice in connection with procurements. Eugenia has experience of advising on various areas of public procurement law. She has, inter alia, acted as counsel in review procedures and assisted in procurement procedures, including the preparation and review of procurement documents, contract terms, managing confidentiality, etc. Eugenia has published several articles in the public procurement law field, i.a. in Upphandlingsrättslig Tidskrift, UrT 2023 p. 28 " Harm in review procedures", and has been a speaker and panelist at the Procurement conference (sw. Upphandlingskonferensen) regarding damages and remedies in public procurement. Henrik Bielenstein

Henrik joined Kastell as a partner on February 2011. He is one of Sweden's most experienced leading litigators, with over 30 years' experience in handling commercial disputes before courts and arbitration tribunals. Henrik has been lead counsel in seventeen disputes before the Swedish Supreme Court. He has particular expertise within the contractual and tortious liability, consultant liability and insurance law. During his time at Linklaters, Henrik was head of the litigation department.

Jennie Bark-Jones

Jennie joined Kastell in June 2013. She specialized in competition law upon qualifying as a solicitor of England & Wales in 2003. Prior to joining Kastell, Jennie worked as an associate at the London offices of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and Linklaters LLP. Jennie advises clients on the competition law aspects of transactions and assists them with notifications to competition authorities in many different jurisdictions, including the Swedish Competition Authority and the European Commission. Johan Karlsson

Johan Karlsson is one of Sweden's most renowned EU and competition law practitioners and has for many years been ranked as one of the best lawyers in this area. Johan has extensive experience also in related areas such as state aid, public procurement as well as in sports law. He represents large and small companies and organisations in matters before Swedish authorities, the European Commission and the EFTA Surveillance Authority as well as in litigation before Swedish and EU courts and arbitration tribunals. Katarina Mild

Katarina has specialised in commercial dispute resolution since 2003. Not only has Katarina worked at several distinguished law firms, she has also spent a number of years as senior in-house counsel at a leading P&C insurance company in the Nordics, and at one of the largest architect firms in Sweden. Katarina assists clients at all stages of a dispute. She has extensive experience of acting as counsel before Swedish and international arbitral tribunals (both ad hoc and pursuant to the rules of several arbitral institutions) and Swedish courts. Katarina also sits as arbitrator. In 2022, she completed the Arbitrator Training Program, arranged by the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC) and the Swedish Arbitration Association (SAA). She has experience from disputes across a variety of areas and sectors, including insurance, energy, telecoms, construction, engineering, life sciences, and finance, as well as disputes relating to a wide range of commercial agreements, international sales of goods, M&A, corporate law, damages, and professional liability.
