La Pasteria hand made pasta and pasta sauces was founded in 1990 in the "Little Italy" suburb of Haberfield by Grazia Bellezza. As the population of Haberfield is predominantly Italian, who better to judge her ability as a hand made pasta maker than the local residents. And so La Pasteria was born and still remains in Ramsey Street to this day. La Pasteria's reputation as a high quality hand made pasta and pasta sauce manufacturer spread which resulted in demand exceeding supply. At this point her son, Valerio, was finishing his diploma in business and he decided to become involved in the art of hand made pasta. In 1998, La Pasteria became a fully fledged company and orders for hand made pasta continued to flourish. In fact, the hardest part of the business has been ensuring supply to the demand for the different types and styles of hand made pasta and pasta..
