Mr. Brown received a B.A. in Biology and German from Augsburg College in Minnesota in 1988. Following graduation, he spent two years as a United States Peace Corps volunteer in Swaziland. Mr. Brown received a juris doctorate from New York University and holds a Master's Degree from Duke University. He has also completed graduate studies in law at Oxford University.
Mr. Brown was employed for three years with the U.S. Department of Justice, Immigration and Nationality Service in New York, NY and Harlingen, TX. In 2001, Mr. Brown began in private practice in McAllen, TX.
Mr. Brown is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Texas Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
