MADISONVILLE ANIMAL HOSPITAL - Key Persons
Brandi is one of our wonderful kennel technicians at Madisonville Animal Hospital. Brandi is a former resident of De Ridder, but eventually moved to Ponchatoula where she graduated from Ponchatoula High School in 2011. She is married to her husband, Aaron, and cares for her cat, two dogs, and eighteen chickens. When she isn't hard at work, Brandi likes to spend her time on the river.
Dr. Christine McDonald is the owner of Madisonville Animal Hospital. She has been in the veterinary industry since 1990, and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University in 1995. Before opening Madisonville Animal Hospital in September 2003, Dr. McDonald gained her experience by working in a large veterinary practice with 8 doctors. She also gained experience in emergency clinics and provided relief services for other veterinarians. Dr. McDonald has an extensive family in Texas, but that does not compare to her animal family here in Louisiana! She has 13 cats, 6 dogs, 3 ferrets, 2 bearded dragons and a sulcata tortoise!
Jamie is the office manager of Madisonville Animal Hospital. She ensures a satisfying and compassionate visit for all clients at MAH. She has been in the veterinary industry since 1999 and joined Madisonville Animal Hospital in 2005. She works side by side with Dr. McDonald to ensure our patients get the care they need and the clinic runs smoothly. One of her strengths is helping our clients understand the necessary care their pets need. She spent her younger years in Harahan, La before moving to Folsom, La. at the age of 12. She currently resides in Folsom with her Fiance' plus her 2 dogs, Annabell and Chewy, and her 2 cats, Little Bit and PC. She is a proud mama to one son and one grandson, who keeps her very busy! In her free time, she loves taking trips to the beach to relax.
