At Marellan Shorthorns, we are committed to producing an elite herd of tropically adapted Shorthorn Cattle that give our clients more market options. It is our aim that our bulls meet, and exceed our client's expectations. We pay special and absolute attention to fertility, meat quality, finishing ability and suitability for tropical and semi-arid environments. Our bulls are bred in Queensland, for Queensland and the top end... In our attempt to objectively analyse the variation in the Tick Burden of our Shorthorn Cattle, we have developed a scoring system (1-5, with a 1 TMS being the most desirable), to rate the amount of Ticks our cows carried in the summer of 2014/2015.
