Nnenna McKinley - Founder

Nnenna McKinley Onua was admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey in March 2005. Throughout the years, Nnenna has acquired extensive experience in all facets of real estate, bankruptcy, and employment litigation. She has practiced in state and federal courts, before administrative agencies, mediators, and arbitrators. Nnenna has also served as trial and appellate counsel before various courts. Nnenna is the founder of McKinley Onua & Associates, where she has successfully litigated cases against major corporations and government agencies, including Weil Gotshal & Manges, Key Food, Incorporated, and JPMorgan Chase Bank to name a few. In addition, she has had several high-profile lawsuits which have received media attention, including publication in national publications like the New York Times and Daily News. Nnenna began her legal endeavors at Brooklyn Law School, where she was a member of the prestigious Moot Court Honor Society, Evening Vice President of the Black Law Student Society, and was a Delegate for the Student Government Association. While attending law school, she worked full-time for the New York Stock Exchange, and interned for the Kings County District Attorney's Office, South Brooklyn Legal Services, and the Legal Aid Society. Aside from her practice, Nnenna has worked as an adjunct professor at Brooklyn College and Touro College in New York City, teaching business law and real estate classes. In the public service sector, she has been involved in several community-based organizations and projects that deal with educational policies and prison reform. She has also served as a treasurer and campaign supporter in the civic endeavors of several local politicians and have worked on corresponding community enrichment ventures. Nnenna is a Brooklyn native of Jamaican and Nigerian descent. She received a Bachelor of Science in finance and information systems from New York University, Stern School of Business, and her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School.

Renee Kendall

Renee Kendall is of counsel to McKinley Onua & Associates. She practices real estate and landlord tenant matters for the firm. Renee has a wealth of experience drafting corporate by laws, conducting due diligence for large mergers, investigating employee misconduct cases, and negotiating collective bargaining agreements for large companies, including Fox Television, Gucci America, Inc. and EdisonLearning, Inc. Renee also practices estate planning and probate administration for her firm and for Caribbean Legal Solutions LLC, a company she conceived and designed to serve the legal needs of the Caribbean diaspora around the world. Renee Kendall is a Brooklyn native and an attorney admitted to practice in New York. She received her Juris Doctor from Touro Law School in 2018.
