MAGRYN - Key Persons
Ahmad is a dedicated and friendly Civil and Structural Engineer with a strong background in construction.
Ann has worked casually for Magryn since 2016. She now works part-time from Wednesday to Friday in her role as Administration/Drafting Assistant.
She can usually be found helping the Administration/Accounts Manager, Sharyn, with day-to-day tasks like answering emails or phone calls, or assisting the Lead Drafter, Todd, with drafting requirements.

Barry joined Magryn & Associates in May, 2022, after graduating with a Bachelor of Civil and Structural Engineering (Hons) from the University of Adelaide.
In his professional career at Magryn & Associates, Barry has been involved in a variety of civil/ structural design projects and has carried out various tasks including load analysis on structures, preparation and review of design documentation, and site inspections.
David Frampton brings some 40 years of local and international experience - and across a broad spread of the building industry - to his position as Technical Officer at Magryn & Associates.
A qualified carpenter/joiner and long-time building supervisor, David's primary role is to conduct exploratory investigations to unearth faults with building work, examine the existing condition of structures, prepare detailed reports on any defects and recommend remedial solutions.
He commenced his career as a sub-contract carpenter with AV Jennings before progressing to serve as a construction supervisor at a number of leading building companies and, more recently, in the design and project management of both commercial and residential projects.
David, whose qualifications include a Building Certificate, a Building Inspector's Certificate and a Diploma of Building Design and Technology, also enjoys a wealth of experience in hands-on trade work, technical capability and all elements of project administration and supervision.
Since joining Magryn & Associates in early 2017, he has applied his considerable expertise to investigation and building defect rectifications on large multi-storey buildings, and residential houses.

Nick commenced his employment with Magryn & Associates in early 2017, after originally completing his work experience at the company back in 2015.
A University of Adelaide honours graduate in Civil and Structural Engineering, Nick has been involved in a wide range of projects during his time at the company, with extensive design of steel, concrete, aluminium and timber structures, as well as forensic reports on residential/commercial buildings and coastal infrastructure, wastewater management system design and civil/stormwater upgrades.
Nick is a senior engineer and team leader at Magryn & Associates, roles that include the training of new staff, client liaison and acting as Superintendent on large projects.
Nicola holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) from the University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden, Germany.
Specialising in structural engineering, she worked for a number of leading engineering firms in her native Germany before moving to Adelaide in 2007 and joining Magryn & Associates.
As a senior engineer, she is responsible for the design, documentation and drafting of a wide variety of structural, civil and coastal projects.

Fresh from leaving the academic world of the University of Adelaide in 2013 armed with an honours degree in Civil and Structural Engineering, Rohan Parkhill embarked on his professional career at local engineering firm P&G Structures, where he gained valuable practical experience in design and documentation.
Since moving to Magryn & Associates in 2014, Rohan has been involved in a broad spread of engineering projects, from forensic inspections to prestigious structural and civil developments.
As Managing Director of Magryn and Associates, Rohan is responsible for general office management and project scheduling.

Terry has a Bachelor of Engineer (Civil) Degree from University of Adelaide and a Master of Engineer Science (Coastal) Degree from University of NSW.
Terry undertakes particularly sensitive or difficult projects and provides technical advice to other engineers as needed for their projects.
Terry also undertakes a significant amount of expert legal opinion and reports on insurance claims.

Will joined Magryn & Associates in 2013 after graduating with a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering (Hons) Degree from the University of Adelaide.
Will has experience in a diverse range of projects, from residential designs and forensic inspections to major commercial developments (particularly in the coastal/maritime sector).
Will is also a registered Engineer in Queensland (RPEQ) and Registered Building Practitioner in Victoria.
Will's role as Technical Director involves assisting with the general running of the business, oversight of technical standards, procedures and quality assurance. He is also a team leader and senior engineer, managing projects from the initial consultation and design phase through to the construction phase.
