MISSISSAUGA ASSOCIATION FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING

We are a parent run organization whose focus is to provide meaningful activities for special needs individuals over the age of 16. We have been a non-profit organization since 1992. M.A.I.L. members are residents of Peel Region who are intellectually challenged. We are governed by a Board of Directors consisting of 9 volunteer members, and our growing membership now consists of over 50 families... We provide an opportunity for these very special members of society to learn from our professional staff how to interact with each other and the community while having a great time! Our programs facilitate life-skills training, meal preparation, recreation, arts and crafts and socializing... M.A.I.L. provides essential services. Our voice should be heard in the Community as we require support in order to achieve our goals.We have already achieved the most essential criteria to ensure success. We have a strong membership, over 25 years of experience and the dedication of many hearts.
