MY STRAWBERRY MONKEY

My Strawberry Monkey is a British preschool picture book series and website created by Allan Thompson. At the heart of the community is a foster home overseen by Mummy Daddy Monkey and where children from all over the world are welcomed. Since we live in such a multicultural society and diverse environment in London, the colours and roles of the animals promote unity, equality, positivity and diversity. The picture books are designed to help children understand that it's ok to make mistakes, as long as we learn from them and from Betty's perspective, that we should support those around us, help them and teach them where we can. The books are aimed at preschoolers, age 2+ and are based around Strawberry Monkey, a cute, cheeky but somewhat clumsy Monkey.
