NEIL LEMAIRE

Neil Lemaire is a fine artist, working primarily in cast bronze or mixed media sculpture from his studio at the London Museum of Water and Steam near Kew Bridge. His work visually connects natural processes and forms to engineering and the manufacturing process, including bronze casting and mould making... Neil's artistic interests are based on connections between organic processes and engineering. Spontaneous, natural, processes like erosion, deposition and gravity are harnessed to produce cast, bronze or mixed media, components. These are combined and constructed into vertical, tower like, structures that have vague, mathematical rhythms, while showing random, organic textures.
