Lorraine Dunn

Lorraine Dunn is the Administration Manager and a director of NCA Consulting and Training she has been involved in the company since 1990, carrying out various duties. In 1985 Pat and Lorraine moved to Ballina, raising four children, six beautiful grandchildren and two grand puppies. Once Lorraine's baby started school in 1990 she joined husband Pat in the family business seeing many changes to their business as well as the Insurance Industry which NCA Consulting previously North Coast Appraisals and Macler Pty Ltd were known for. Lorraine has seen NCA Consulting expand into areas such as Training, WHS, HR, Risk Management and Workplace Management all while keeping a personalised and professional service. In 2015 Lorraine assisted in setting up NCA Training and getting accredited with ASQA as a Registered Training Organisation. Lorraine has been luckily enough to be able to work with her family, her husband Pat who has now retired, her son Raymond who was an integral part of the family business before following his own path in the Insurance Industry and in recent year Tamison and Rebecca have come on board to help grow the business into the company that Pat and Lorraine envisaged many years ago. In recent years, Lorraine her daughter Belinda who also decided to follow her own path, purchased a Beauty Salon ‘Inner Beauty' in Lennox Head. With NCA Consulting and Training's help to set up the correct WHS Procedures, they have received the 2018 Ballina Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Workplace Safety Award.

Rebecca Weston

Rebecca Weston is the Training Coordinator at NCA Consulting and Training, Rebecca is the daughter of Pat and Lorraine Dunn and has worked in the family business since 2009. Before Rebecca came to work for NCA she spend her time in the retail industry, from clothing and jewelry to furniture. Rebecca had a number of roles during this time, starting from the bottom and worked her way through the ranks to finally Manage her own furniture store with a team of eight. Rebecca is a working mother of two running between work, school and kids afternoon activities. With her husband working away in the mining industry and assisting in the family business on his week home, this gives NCA Consulting and Training a different perspective on operation's in the Northern Rivers.

Serge Killingbeck

Serge came to NCA in 2017 after ten years as a lecturer in the School of Law and Justice at Southern Cross University in Lismore, New South Wales. In 2003 he took a hiatus of three years from paid employment, but not full time work, to look after ‘the twins', now teenagers. Before this he worked as a general practice solicitor in Mullumbimby on the far north coast of New South Wales, moving back after spending two years in Melbourne and Sydney. Serge began his legal career in Melbourne working for the boutique law firm Michael Brereton and Co, specialists in venture capital projects, IPO, taxation and, strangely, entertainment law. Since then, his work has largely focused on commercial, environment and planning, employment, IR and administrative law and policy development. Serge has also been published on a range of subjects including limitation of liability (focusing on maritime claims), carbon trading and, most recently, sustainable development. Prior to coming to law in his thirties, Serge worked in a range of industries throughout regional Australia including the cattle industry of the Northern Territory, gold mining in Queensland's Gulf country and the club industry on the far north coast of New South Wales. He also had stints working in the family fishing business, contract planting sugar cane, a stock and station agent and labour hire in transport and construction.
