Christine Mo

Christine Mo is a registered Physiotherapist, a Registered Massage Therapist and many more! She graduated from McGill University with an Applied Masters of Science Degree in Physical Therapy, after earning her diploma in massage therapy, and her Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences as well as her Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy. Christine believes that combination of effective communication, hands-on techniques including acupuncture, and specific exercises acts most effectively in pain relief, functional recovery and long-term injury prevention.

David Wu

David Wu graduated from Royal Canadian Massage Therapy College of Toronto as a registered massage therapist and currently hold a good standing as a member of College of Massage Therapy in Ontario. David has worked in a variety of health care settings clinic and a private clinic in the GTA. With all these years of experiences, David believes that in order for patients to achieve functional independence and return to their normal daily activities, a combination of treatment is required. This ranges from manual techniques, Acupuncture, Cupping, therapeutic modalities, rehabilitative exercises and education. This combination approach will emphasize the importance of injury prevention and the importance of self-care, allowing the patient to become physically stronger so that they can live a more active lifestyle.

Dr. James A. Haase

Dr. James A. Haase brings a seasoned 35 years of Chiropractic experience to the NTO Wellness and Rehab Centre and has been treating patients of all ages including WSIB claimants and those involved in automobile accidents. Dr. James A. Haase graduated from University of Toronto with a B. Sc. in Biology in 1972, and graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with D.C. Honour in 1979. He has family oriented practice with patients ranging in ages from 3 weeks to 95 years old. Approximately half his practice consists of those suffering back and neck injuries and headaches. Another 40% involve injuries or arthritic in various joints such as the jaw, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, knee, hip, ankle and foot. The remaining 10% include treatment for numbness, tingling and/or weakness in the arms and legs. Various functional health problems such as dizziness, vertigo, ringing in the ears, asthma and stomach/bowel problems, etc…. are also included. The type pf treatment and services provided is dependent upon the nature of the health problem. The purpose of manipulation is to restore normal joint alignment, normal range of motion, reduce muscle spasms and correct dis ruptures. Manipulation can be done by hand or by a low force-adjusting instrument. Treatment of soft tissue (muscles, ligaments, tendons and bursa) consists of the use of ultrasound, muscle stimulation, manual therapy, ice, heat, braces, supports, and corrective exercise. Dr. Haase also assess the foot structure and provide custom-fitted orthotics (supports). Dr. James Haase graduated from University of Toronto with a B.Sc. in Biology and of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with a Doctorate with Honours degree. He has been in practice for 35 years. Dr. James Haase is a Doctor of many certifications and credentials that include the following: Dr. Haase brings a seasoned 32 years of Chiropractic experience to the NTO Wellness and Rehab Centre and has been treating patients of all ages including WSIB claimants and those involved in automobile accidents (MVA).

Dr. Mikyung Kim

Dr. Mikyung Kim is a Registered Naturopathic Doctor (ND) in Ontario. She studied at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), the College Of Naturopaths in Ontario (CONO). Adding to her ND career, she is an honored Certified iridologist and a member of the International Iridology Practitioners Association (IIPA).

Melissa Wu

Melissa Wu graduated from Western University with a Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Prior to becoming a Physiotherapist, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from McMaster University. She has also completed postgraduate courses in Kinesio Taping, Soft Tissue Release, Mulligan Lower Concept and Foundations of Anatomical Acupuncture, Modern massage cupping therapy, Myofascial Release, Lymphatic Drainage and Guasha therapy . Melissa has worked in a variety of settings such as acute care hospitals, neuro rehabilitation hospitals and orthopedic clinics. She uses her past experiences to provide a functional holistic assessment and treatment style that identifies the complex nature of each individual's pain experience. Through a detailed interview and assessment process, Melissa identifies factors contributing to musculoskeletal pain and movement disorders.

Nicole Weifang Zhang

Nicole Weifang Zhang is a registered Chiropodist / Foot Specialist with the College of Chiropodist of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Society of Chiropodist. She obtained her Honours of Bachelor Science degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology from McMaster University in 2014. After her undergraduate studies, she went on to pursue further education in Chiropody at the Michener Institute. She has gained valuable experience from many different clinical environments including multiple community health centres throughout the GTA, as well as private practices. As Chiropodist, Nicole is a highly trained foot specialist with a focus in podiatric medicine. Nicole has the expertise to assess, treat, and manage any foot related issues you may have. Although Nicole provides many means of treatments such as therapeutic, surgical, palliative and pharmacological treatments, she has a special interest in biomechanics and human movement which directly translates to sport- and repetitive strain-related injuries.
