Leveraging this experience, Angeliki is able to provide her clients with exceptional guidance and support during their practice transitions. Her specialized perspective also allows her to truly connect with her clients' needs in pursuit of successful deals with their best interest in mind. Angeliki is committed to her weekly run club and is always looking for the next best hiking trail. She is a self-proclaimed podcast nerd, enjoys graphic design, and has high hopes of being a contestant on Jeopardy one day.

Catherine Silva

Leveraging 13+ years of experience in the dental field and serving as a leading business strategist, Catherine has dedicated her career to the growth and transformation of dental offices in both North and South Carolina. Residing in Charlotte, Catherine has personally served offices throughout the Carolinas giving her an in-depth understanding of her territory's market. Catherine's first hand experience opening and managing dental offices throughout her region provides clients with an insider's understanding when transitioning practices in this area. Her cross functional leadership and operational experience allows Catherine to see the needs of her clients through an extremely specialized lens, empowering her to pursue successful deals on their behalf. Catherine enjoys spending her time on the yoga mat as a certified yoga teacher, with a strong passion for serving her community. She also enjoys gardening, podcasts, and spending time with her family.

Daniel P. Baccari

Co-owner of National Practice Transitions, Dan was the co-founder of The Baccari Cabral Group, LLC, a highly recognized and successful dental practice brokerage and consulting firm credited with the sale of and appraisal of hundreds of dental practices across the northeast since 1997. His duties with the company involve the management of the New England territory, appraising and consulting with numerous dentists and specialists with the transition of their dental practices. While the majority of his time is spent in the capacity of a dental practice broker, Dan also uses his legal training to represent parties who are either buying or selling a dental practice. Over the last 20 years, Dan has guest lectured at the invitation of numerous dental societies and organizations on many topics involving or related to the transitioning of dental practices. He is is the published author of numerous articles including "Alternative Approaches In Practice Transitions", "Landlords: An Often Overlooked Obstacle For Closing" and "Non-Competition Agreements in Dental Practice Transitions." Dan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Hofstra University, in New York and a Juris Doctorate from Roger Williams University School of Law. At the beginning of his professional career, Dan worked for Dow Chemical Company in a busy New York City territory earning the distinction as the National #1 Sales Representative among first year hires. Following that and prior to entering into the dental transition industry, before and while attending law school, Dan founded and managed a highly successful landscape construction company (still in existence), which he transitioned and sold after graduating from law school. Most of his free time is spent with his 2 children with their busy lives, skiing, camping and watching their sports and activities. He enjoys working out, and playing golf with his friends.

Denise A. Cabral

Denise Cabral is the Territory Manager for Choice Transitions. She oversees all territories outside of New England and manages our team of regional representatives. In addition, utilizing her education and tax expertise, Denise is responsible for the preparation of the dental practice appraisals utilized to market and sell our listings. Denise is a Certified Public Accountant who was employed in public accounting for 26 years before joining our firm. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Accounting as well as her Masters in Taxation from Bryant College.

Dr. Bernard R. Kowalski

Dr. Bernard R. Kowalski ("Bernie") joined Choice Transitions (NPT) in 2013 as the mid Atlantic region territory representative for central and eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and portions of New York. Residing in Doylestown, Dr. Kowalski is geographically positioned to service his territory by: providing his clients with face-to-face meetings, accompanying buyers to practice showings, and being accessible for any issues that may arise throughout the entire transition process. Having sold over one hundred dental practices himself over the past nine years with Choice Transitions, Dr. Kowalski understands the questions and concerns involved in the process and prides himself on his ability to provide the highest level of service possible to his fellow colleagues, who are more than just his clients. He has gained valuable expertise in practice valuations, negotiation skills, lease arrangements, in addition to building successful, cohesive teams and coordinating multiple priorities while working with brokers, attorneys, and financial representatives. Dr. Kowalski holds a BS and MS from Rutgers University and a DMD from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry, both in New Jersey. Following a General Practice residency at the Brooklyn VA Hospital in NYC, Dr. Kowalski worked as an associate in small practices and large clinics throughout New Jersey. He owned and operated 3 dental practices in New Jersey, including 2 offices that were started from scratch, before selling all 3 and relocating to Pennsylvania in 1997. Dr. Kowalski then bought an existing practice in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, before selling and transitioning a few years ago. Dr. Kowalski is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, and a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers. He and his wife reside in Doylestown, PA, with their 2 children.

Dr. Harry Snydman

Dr. Harry Snydman joined Choice Transitions in late-2019 after a successful 30 year career as a private practice general dentist. He is well respected as an excellent clinician, and was named a Baltimore Magazine Top Dentist in 2012 and 2014. Throughout his career he has experienced firsthand almost all aspects of the dental practice ownership cycle. After a lengthy associateship, he started a practice from scratch, building it efficiently and managing it profitably for 24 years. His practice also relocated once, and he was instrumental in the design, layout and equipment purchases for both facilities. During the sale of his practice, he gained a wealth of knowledge, tips, and strategies for a successful transition. He brings real-world experience to the process, and understands the emotions involved in a practice sale or purchase. Dr. Snydman holds a BA from Lafayette College, a DDS from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, and completed a General Practice residency at John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison, NJ. He is a member of the American Dental Association, and the Maryland State Dental Association. Residing just outside of Baltimore, Harry is able to assist buyers and sellers in the Baltimore, DC, Northern Virginia, and Delaware areas, including direct meetings with sellers, and attending practice showings with buyers. He is accessible and very responsive to the needs or questions of his clients during the entire process. Harry is married with two adult daughters. Residing in Reisterstown, MD he is an avid Baltimore sports fan, and enjoys golfing, running, and fitness.

Dr. Henry Frederick (Fred) Bacon

Fred played baseball and football while studying Zoology at the University of Louisville and he served in the United States military. He was an active volunteer both locally and abroad. He would work at local food banks during the holidays, answered calls for the Suicide Prevention Crisis Hotline and traveled to Haiti to perform dental surgery for the underprivileged. In his free time he loved watching sports with his son-in-law, David, fishing, and spending time with his family. Fred will forever be in our thoughts.

Dr. Jodi Danna

Dr. Jodi Danna is cosmetic dentist, educator and mentor. She is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. Dr. Danna dedicated her career to providing each patient with personalized, compassionate cosmetic and restorative dentistry by educating each patient individually and utilizing the latest technological advances. Her ultimate goal was to provide her patients with premium dental care, regardless of their situation. Dr. Danna attended the University of Texas majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry. Prior to attending dental school Dr. Danna was a dental assistant/office manager. She attended Baylor College of Dentistry earning her DDS degree in May, 1995. Dr. Danna received her Advanced Education in General Dentistry certificate in May, 1996 and attained her Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry in August, 1996. While completing her AEGD training, Dr. Danna also completed a comprehensive restorative continuum achieving her certification in 1995-1996 with the Las Vegas Institute, a post-graduate dental learning institution specializing in comprehensive diagnosis, contemporary techniques and technology. She was awarded the New Dentist of the Year award by the Dallas County Dental Society in 2000. In 2002 Dr. Danna opened The Danna Smile, a general dental practice specializing in cosmetic and restorative treatment in Plano, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. She continues to maintain a full-time private practice performing all phases of restorative dentistry. Dr. Danna is a Key Opinion Leader for a new manufacturer, evaluating new clinical instruments. She is a guest lecturer at Baylor College of Dentistry as well as a Preceptor mentor. Dr. Danna is very active in organized dentistry serving on the Board of Directors and on numerous committees for the Dallas County Dental Society, Texas Dental Association and the American Dental Association. She is the Conference Chairman for the 2017 Southwest Dental Conference and a delegate for TDA and the ADA. She also serves as President Elect of the Dallas County Dental Society for 2017-2018. She maintains affiliation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American and International College of Dentists. Dr. Danna is an advocate for many organizations within the community and continues to serve on several non-profit boards. She has a heart for serving those in need and has given her time to organizations such as Journey of Hope Grief Support, Star Children's Charities, Junior League of Collin County, the Dallas Children's Museum, and National Charity League. Dr. Danna believes that quality dentistry begins with quality continuing education. She has more than 1000 hours of continuing education to date and has dedicated her life to furthering her education allowing her to better serve her patients and her profession.

James (Jim) Clark

Dr James M. Clark (Jim) has filled many roles in dentistry for more than 40 years. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a BS in Health Care Management in 1979, and immediately entered dental school at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, graduating in 1983. Dr Clark started his first practice from scratch in Birmingham Alabama and grew it to one of the largest practices in the area. He bought several other practices in Alabama and personally experienced 14 different transitions. Dr Clark used his business education to implement solid systems to turn around failing practices. He has personally experienced every type of dental transition from buying, selling, merging, and even selling to a DSO and then separating from that DSO. The last six years Dr Clark practiced clinical dentistry, he owned and managed a practice in Fairhope AL while also working for the Air Force in Florida as a contract dentist. Dr Clark retired from clinical dentistry in 2018 and was then connected with Chuck Cohen, the CEO and owner of Benco Dental, who asked him to take over the Transition program at Benco. Dr Clark served as the Benco Transition consultant nationwide for 4 years and helped over 1,000 dentists with their transition needs. Dr Clark is passionate about using his firsthand knowledge of Transitions to help his dental colleagues during the transition process. The decision for a dentist to sell their practice is the biggest career decision they will make, and emotions run high during this process. Dr Clark understands these emotions having personally experienced them. He considers it an honor to be selected as the broker of choice to sell a dental practice and will do everything possible to achieve the goals of the seller and make the process as smooth as possible. Dr Clark has three adult children and four grandchildren. He lives in Miramar Beach Florida and enjoys boating, working out and golf.

Jay Lowery

As typical family business strategies are, Jay held multiple cross-functional roles within the business: working in the warehouse in shipping and receiving; the servicing of equipment including the routing of service calls; inventory maintenance; Accounts Payable & Receivable; and eventually ending up in the field as the lead sales role for the company. In this role, Jay was responsible for selling all type of dental supplies and equipment necessary for a day-to-day dental practice including orthodontics, oral surgery, etc. Jay has been a sought-after sales leader earning multiple awards over the years working for these well-known sales and equipment vendors:

Laura Christiano

We are excited to add the duo of Laura Christiano and Lori Medeiros to the Choice "Team". Together, they service the southwestern Florida territory from Spring Hill to Marco Island. As a seasoned real estate broker with 19 years of experience, Laura bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every transaction. Throughout her career, Laura has worked tirelessly to help her clients achieve their goals and make sound business decisions. As the owner of her own successful brokerage firm, Laura has honed her leadership skills and developed a deep understanding of what it takes to grow a successful business. Laura holds a bachelor's degree in Business and Commerce from Rider University in New Jersey. She has a strong foundation in the principles of business and finance. Lori Medeiros

She also has 30+ years of human resource management and leadership experience within diverse industries. Lori holds a master's degree in human resource management from Salve Regina University and a bachelor's degree in liberal arts from Providence College.

Michael Schear

Michael Schear is excited to join Choice Transitions as a Territory Representative for Long Island, New York. He holds a bachelor's degree in business from Brooklyn College and has a long history in sales, marketing and leadership. Michael's work experience includes being a sales executive from 1986 until he opened his own business in 2000, which he ran for 18 years. He has extensive knowledge in all aspects of business, and maintains strong interpersonal skills which allowed him to cultivate and foster his deep professional relationships. Michael has a true focus and passion for identifying his client needs and his determination has led to his successful partnerships throughout his 30+ years in sales. Michael is the proud father of three daughters and currently resides in Plainview, New York. He is an ardent fan of all New York sports teams, enjoys playing with his dog Louie, and relaxing days in a warm climate with some sun.

Rick McNamara

Rick McNamara joins us with over 5 years of experience in the dental and sales management. He was a United States Marine Non-Commisioned Officer for 9 years. He has several years of experience in the marketing and sales of dental practices and real estate, as well as extensive experience in commercial lease negotiations. Robert Kirschner

Robert ("Bob") Kirschner joined Choice Transitions in Summer 2022 as the Territory Representative for Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and The Bronx, New York. He is also a co-Territory Representative for Long Island. For the past 6 years, Bob has successfully sold numerous dental practices in New York and New Jersey. He utilizes his knowledge of the NY market, specifically within the 5 Boroughs, along with his vast experience in handling multi-million-dollar dental practice sales, to advise his dental clients to ensure a smooth and successful transition. Bob will gladly provide testimonials from previous clients. Bob has been involved in sales as a financial consultant at Merrill Lynch and Cetera Advisor Networks, building and protecting his clients' wealth, since 1986. Additionally, Bob holds a real estate license, and assist clients looking to buy, sell and rent commercial and residential properties. In his leisure time, Bob can be seen walking his Havanese, Rocky, in Central Park. He enjoys exercising daily and attending many of the cultural events that New York has to offer. Scott A. Cabral - Founder

Since 1996, Scott has personally appraised, consulted, transitioned and sold hundreds of dental practices within New England. Additionally, he has trained, assisted, and continually oversees National Practice Transitions territory representatives across the country. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and a Juris Doctorate degree from Roger Williams University School of Law (inaugural class). He is admitted to practice law in the State of Rhode Island and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Scott has guest lectured at the invitation of several dental societies and organizations on the topic of "Practice Transitions". Additionally, he is the published author of several articles including, "Notifying Your Staff, When Is The Right Time To Announce Your Intention To Sell?", "Understanding Lease Provisions and Available Options" "The Dual Headed Monster, Why To Avoid Dual Representation Brokerage Firms" and "What Is My Practice Worth?" Tim Hughes

Tim Hughes joined Choice Transitions in March 2020 as a Territory Representative for Texas, servicing primarily Dallas and surrounding areas. Tim will be working closely with Dr. Jodi Danna to assist dentists in every phase of practice transition. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Marketing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Tim's past work experience includes managing three Foot Locker retail businesses in Pittsburgh, PA with annual revenues over $3M. Tim was accountable for managing daily store operations to achieve targeted productivity, sales and profitability. Tim developed his management and business acumen but wanted to excel and advance in a more defined sales role. In 1999, Tim joined FedEx Services as an Account Executive selling transportation and shipping services to small and medium business in territories that spanned from North Carolina to New York for 19 years. Tim was responsible for cost benefit analysis, consultative sales and professional business reviews for existing and potential customers with an annual sales goal of over $4M. In May 2017, Tim received his certification as Lead Mentor for the FedEx Sales Pittsburgh office to lead the training of all new sales associates. Just prior to joining Choice, Tim relocated to Texas and was a Sales Manager for a tech company in Irving called Bottlecapps, which develops mobile apps and websites for the spirits industry nationwide. Tim has always been inspired to exceed customer expectations, a trait that matches Choice transitions philosophy. Tim is married with two sons and 1 daughter and currently is residing in Irving, Texas. Growing up in Indiana, he is an avid Notre Dame and Chicago Cubs fan and enjoys golfing, traveling and DIY home projects.

Wayne Oplinger

Choice Transitions' team suffered a terrible loss, Wayne Oplinger passed away from Covid complications surrounded by his family and loved ones. As a champion of life, Wayne never said no to any opportunity or anyone in need. He was a dedicated colleague, friend, coach, and a businessman who left a lasting impact on all those he met. The last years of his life were spent doing what he loved most: spending time with his family and fiancée, traveling, enjoying live music, Jeep rides, staying fit (while also being a food enthusiast), and brokering dental practices. He truly lived a life with no regrets and lived every day to the fullest. Wayne will forever be in our thoughts.
