Hollie White

Job Titles:
  • Social Worker
Hollie White, MSW, LCSW, is a social worker who joined Pathways part-time in 2021. She earned her Master's Degree in social work from Loyola - University of Chicago. During her Master's program, Hollie worked in two clinical settings - a domestic violence shelter and an in-home family therapy program. After completing her graduate degree and internships, Hollie worked in an outpatient mental health clinic in Racine. During this time, she mainly worked with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma. Hollie has also worked in the mental health field in non-clinical settings. Hollie currently works full-time in a macro-level systems change project to improve elementary-aged students' mental health. In the past, Hollie also supervised a delinquency program and worked in supervised visitation. As a therapist, Hollie would consider her theoretical orientation to be eclectic but most often utilizes techniques from trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, play therapy with children, and solution-focused therapy. Hollie believes that the most important part of therapy is to have a strong therapeutic relationship. She works to put the client in the driver's seat of their own life to improve their mood and overall functioning.

Lora Reinders

Job Titles:
  • Clinical Social Worker
Lora Reinders, MSW, LCSW, is a clinical social worker who joined Pathways Consulting in 2008. She earned her Master's Degree in social work from Loyola University - Chicago. Prior to her work in private practice, she practiced in a psychiatric hospital, a day treatment setting with children and adolescents who have significant mental health and behavioral challenges, as well as many years at a sexual assault service provider. Due to these experiences and training, she has special interest and knowledge in treating abuse victims, as well as working with children and adolescents. In 2011 Lora took over as the clinic director at Pathways Consulting. Lora would consider her theoretical orientation to be eclectic, but most often utilizes techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic theory, solution focused models, and play therapy in her work with children. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) by the EMDR Institute. Lora believes strongly that the therapeutic relationship is the most important vehicle for change, so wants to make sure a client feels there is a good "fit" between him or herself and the therapist.
