As a performing percussionist for 45+ years and a band director for 31 of those years, a great deal of practical knowledge and hands-on experience has been gathered in dealing with the workings of a wide range of percussion instruments, with proper maintenance and repair procedures being very high priorities. My passion for designing, modifying, and constructing numerous percussion-related items for use in education and performance during my professional career led to the establishment of Percussion Solutions.
