ANDI DOWLING

Andi graduated from a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy in 1993 and attained a Master of Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2002. She has worked in this clinic (formally Yarra Valley Physiotherapy) and now Physica Yarra Valley since 1995. Andi has undertaken a vast range of professional development courses and workshops including several Advanced Neck Courses, Headache course, DMA Pilates Levels 1-4, Lyn Watson shoulder courses, Dry needling and McKenzie Part A and B and tendinopathy courses. Andi's professional interests include Neck pain - including whiplash associated disorders, chronic neck pain, nerve root pain and post-operative neck rehabilitation.

Julia Truong

Julia graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Physiotherapy Practice. Julia is passionate about working with people of all ages to help them improve their confidence and achieve their goals. She uses a combination of manual therapy, education, and evidence-based treatments to gain the best outcomes for her patients. She has worked with multiple sports teams across the VFL, VAFA and NPL Leagues. She has also completed a variety of courses, including the ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning, APPI Level 1 Matwork Pilates, and APPI Level 1 Equipment Pilates. Outside of work, Julia enjoys good food, keeping fit at the gym, and spending time with family and friends.

Lachlan Merrett

Lachlan graduated from La Trobe University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Physiotherapy Practice. After gaining experience in the private practice and hospital setting. He commenced at Physica in April 2021. He has experience in treating clients across the whole lifespan ranging from elite junior sports to the elderly. Lachlan is a GLA:D Certified Practitioner and has a passion for treating knee and hip osteoarthritis. Outside of Physica, Lachlan loves playing football and spending time outside exercising.

SARAH GOH

  • Sports Trainer at Both VAFA & EFL
Sarah completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at The University of Melbourne in 2012. Sarah is passionate about helping people of all age groups achieve their optimal physical health & well-being with evidence-based physiotherapy interventions. She has a clinical interest in womens health physiotherapy and has completed her APA level 1 womens pelvic health course. Sarah is currently completing her level 2 course to advance her skillset. Sarah has worked as a sports trainer at both VAFA & EFL football clubs, giving her valuable experience in treating sporting injuries. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time travelling, keeping fit through pilates & functional training. Sarah is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, Malay & Chinese dialects like Hakka & Foochow.
