PEACE TEAM

Following the highly successful inaugural Peace Team in 2008, we are now working on the 2011 AFL Peace Team for this year's AFL International Cup... We are excited to announce that AFL Legend Robert 'Dipper' DiPierdomenico will lead an Australian delegation to Israel Wednesday 15 June 2011 to step up preparations for the Peace Team's return to Australia for this year's AFL International Cup 12-27 August 2011... The Peres Centre for Peace was established in 1996 by Israel's newly elected President, Mr Shimon Peres. It is a powerful engine for peace building - a non-political, non-profit organization committed to building a better life in the region for Palestinians, Arabs and Israelis through cooperation and mutual respect.
